Rose - original drawing

in OnChainArt11 months ago

Hello everyone :)
Today I want to show you my latest drawing.
"Rose"
Drawing, format 42 x 30 cm.
Graphite, ink, acrylic paints, crayons
...
I started it more than a year ago ...it had to wait a while and finally finished it now.
I don't know if you have the same - but I don't like having "open", unfinished works that are waiting in a folder somewhere, or paintings leaning against the wall. I always feel a great relief when I once again mobilize my strength and finish work. :)

.... open, unfinished work:
I got some stuff that I started decades ago - and one of those larger paintings sits in my studio and whenever I have some paint left over from other projects, I add it, sometimes as layers and glazes. Will it ever get finished? Over time I had ideas how to finish it, but since those ideas were based on events of the day, they became old and obsolete. We will see, one of these days, before my 100th birthday ......

Great.
I have one such picture. I was telling Sabina Nore about him and she suggested doing something similar - painting and painting such a picture and seeing how the painting is changing together with me,, with my maturing. I don't know heheheh I'd rather finish it sometime during sunny day;) I like your story :)

This is so pretty and delicate <3

thank you very much :)

Once you hang that unfinished work in your studio, you will always feel a need to visit it back and finish up!... It might take weeks to months to gather that strength needed.
Your work is really masterful.

Yes that's right, and then the sweetest thing is the completion.
I have works that I've decided not to finish, and I can paint over them. But that's another story. The decision is made there, and the unfinished ones are like "levitating" :)

I always like the whole new vibe, energy and touches that comes with following up an unfinished work, always comes out more super than initially planned.

Wow this is so lovely 😃

thank you :)

El manejo de la línea jugando a definición en las flores pero sutileza en la figura genera un equilibrio perfecto, además la paleta de colores es maravillosa, muchas felicidades✨
