My goal for this painting was to create something the viewer could look for ages, something which would help them unwind, relax and think of nothing. I wanted to achieve a dreamy atmosphere intertwined with tranquility, with the light source as a focal view point.
The materials I used are acrylics and small paint rollers. One for light shades, and one for the dark ones.
The colors of my choosing are mostly greens, olives and blues which I believe would provide soothing effect. For the warm accents I used yellow mixed with white, and red color representing the playful part of this piece.
The painting process is shot by phone, so the image quality is pretty poor. But I still think you will be able to grasp on what was going on. This piece is produced by building layers of paint one on top another until producing the wanted effects.
