Rather than thinking of what to talk about, I will just talk about what I am thinking.

Hello beautiful people from the Hive community,

From the last two posts I am realising I have a lot more than I thought to talk about.

I feel like my plan is working:

Rather than thinking of what to talk about, I will just talk about what I am thinking.

I just made that up myself 🤣. I may be discovering a new skill of mine without knowing before haha.

Today I wanted to talk about something I have been trying to get good at but as usual, never know where to start.

As I said I am a very creative person (or at least I consider myself such as), and one of the creative things I would like to learn is to paint. In specific I have been interested in acrylic, abstract painting. I love abstract art. Some of the examples I have been in love with are like these ones:

These two are just a couple of examples of what I really like in art. I like things that don't make sense, that are chaotic but at the same time pleasant to your eyes and mind. I don't like a real representation of life. I like a unique and strange representation of what your brain is capable of expressing.

I don't want to show a lot more details in one post ... As I have so many ideas in my mind... I just need to know what tools to use and how to use them to execute them... And I am gonna need help from the experts in the room!

First of all.. without going further into what other things I want to learn and explore. How would you recommend me to start painting? I have watched some YouTube video tutorials (any good ones you could recommend) and tried to follow some of them... But the result was a disaster. I know I can't paint a Picasso just from the first stroke, but I want to start small and always do something beautiful even if it is just two strokes of colors.

I was considering also going to classes in person ... Maybe I should give this a go and get some direct advice from a professional artist in person.

Also financially I am not at my very best at the moment. It is quite expensive to buy painting materials and canvases, isn't it? Would you recommend some cheap packs for beginners?

Exploring your creativity is a great idea. For acrylic abstract painting, you can start small, watch beginner tutorials on YouTube, and consider affordable in-person classes for direct guidance. When it comes to materials, look for beginner painting sets to save on costs. Most importantly, don't be discouraged by initial attempts. Art is about the process and progress. Have fun on your artistic journey! 🎨🖌️

Thanks a lot for your nice words. They are motivating. I should definitely start small as you say. And try not to be discouraged. Thanks a lot!
