Last week, very close to the residence where we live, an araguaney bloomed.

The Araguaney goes unnoticed until its flowers are born, which once they adorn its branches in a few days its flowers come off to adorn the ground with a carpet of yellow flowers.

This tree surprises us every year and is a source of joy and conversation among all the inhabitants of the area, it can be seen on those days as adults and children are photographed next to this beautiful tree.

We went the day after it bloomed to take family photos, and my daughters and wife forced me to take a photo to immortalize this day.

I had among my plans to paint an araguaney so I took one of the photographs I took that day to take my brushes and watercolors and paint.

As additional information about this tree, it is important to point out that the araguaney is considered the national tree of Venezuela, it can reach up to 8 meters in height, sometimes it can be seen without leaves and it can look like a dry and lifeless tree.

This year we will consider planting one much closer to our residence to leave a positive mark, since I am one of those who thinks that a good citizen should at least plant a tree at some point in his life.

La semana pasada, muy cerca de la residencia donde vivimos, floreció un araguaney.

El araguaney pasa inarvertido hasta que nacen sus flores, que una vez que adornan sus ramas en pocos dia sus flores se desprenden para adonar el suelo con una alfombra de flores amarilla.

Este árbol nos sorprende cada año y es motivo de alegría y conversación entre todos los habitantes de la zona, se puede ver en esos días como adultos y niños se fotografían junto a este hermoso árbol.

Fuimos al día siguiente de su floración a hacer fotos familiares, y mis hijas y mujer me obligaron a hacerme una foto para inmortalizar este día.

Tenía entre mis planes pintar un Araguaney así que tomé una de las fotografías que tomé ese día para tomar mis pinceles y acuarelas y pintar.

Como información adicional sobre este árbol, es importante señalar que el Araguaney es considerado el árbol nacional de Venezuela, puede llegar a medir hasta 8 metros de altura, en ocasiones puede verse sin hojas y puede parecer un árbol seco y sin vida.

Este año nos plantearemos plantar uno mucho más cerca de nuestra residencia para dejar una huella positiva, ya que soy de los que piensa que un buen ciudadano debería al menos plantar un árbol en algún momento de su vida.
