Hello! Triz here! How are you?
The internet and electricity have not left me alone hahahah. But hey, I'm here. Today I want to show you this portrait that I finished a few days ago but I couldn't publish it before because of the same internet thing, the light and other occupations.
This is the second portrait that I do with the purpose of drawing in a different way, at least for my personal things. Who is the girl in the portrait? A great friend, from the beautiful @gvand, I can say that this is very special! Since it's from a great girl, a person I love very much and she knows it 😉! she's funny, beautiful, cute, talented and soooooooooooo crazy she's amazing!! We met here at Hive years ago and have been in touch ever since! She is a great company, I think I have already mentioned it before that she is a tattoo artist, very good by the way!
I wanted to do this portrait for a long time I had the photo saved on my phone then I thought I had lost it on the laptop but it was good that I had saved the file in one of the folders of drawings to be done. I think it was on Sunday that I found the format and decided to do it for my practice, so I did two things at once, practice and finish the portrait.
I did it with a lot of love, although I couldn't capture all your beauty, I'm very happy with the result and from what she told me she also liked the result and that made me veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy happyyyyyyyyyy!
Now if I will show you how the process of this was.
I was using different brushes in the sketch, although my base was a bit messy but it was good to start, since later I was going to give more shape to everything. The good thing is that this step by step was not like the last drawing I did, which was strange since they were all different 😋.
The next thing was to place the features of the girl, it already had more shape than the previous step. This point was one of my favorites of the drawing although later I lost it, I liked how the different strokes I made with the brushes looked, those lines that are around I made them accidentally since I was trying to rotate to draw but I liked them and I left them but they were also lost.
In this step everything I had achieved went to the ground, since I unconsciously ruined everything by my silly habit of fixing things. I was using a brush that wasn't that hard and I was just mixing the colors and although that wouldn't be bad for another piece, it wasn't what I'm looking for in this one.
It was time for the background, I had fun making so many circles that I interspersed one on top of the other, I used the finger tool, I really like using it because it leaves a decent finish in my opinion, but it can be very destructive, you have to use it sparingly .
In this step I was trying to take back what I was looking for and get rid of what I had before, so I used different brushes.
I made this little Gif I sent it to @gvand and she made me laugh with her reaction, she's soooooooooooooooooooo funny😍
Final Result
After adding the glasses and doing some missing details, she was already looking the way I wanted, and her skin was not as smooth as it had been before, I put some colors. The lips as in the previous portrait took me a little time, but I think that in the end I managed to make them look like the original. The background was the same but I just duplicated it a few times and distorted it.
Happy days to you too!👍
Beautiful!
Ohhhhhh Thank you very much 😉
I'm glad that you have been so inspired to do portraits lately and try your hand at some realism. I'm glad you didn't lose the source material! I think this one turned out fabulous and i'm sure that she would or will be happy with the end result. Sorry that you have had such issues with your electricity and internet. I'm sure that is about as frustrating as things could get!
Either way, you did a most excellent job and i look forward to seeing your next portrait! Keep up the great work!!!
Yeahhhhh!!! it is always good to experiment, although I am not looking for realism, it has been great to try another more free way when drawing.
I'm glad as well! I would have been sad if I had lost that. In the publication I did not want to extend myself so much and I did not say much about her, just a few things, but to give you an idea of what she represents, she is to blame for the fact that I make digital art today, she made it possible and I am eternally grateful to her, that's how crazy it has been. And yes! she is very happy, which makes me very happy too hjahahaha-
These problems are my daily bread, but sometimes I forget that I have to learn to live with it, but well, this has always been like this, anything can happen at any time, it shouldn't surprise me anymore, but it does, and yes! it is very frustrating and stressful.
Thank you for viewing this portrait and for taking the time to read and comment. it's nice that you liked it-
Have a good night, day or afternoon! wherever your planet is.
Well, i'm glad she loved it (as i knew she would) because i just read her comments. We should all thank her for encouraging you to get your art started. The world is a better place with your art in it. Keep up the great work and we all are looking forward to seeing what you do next! Have a great week! MAKE IT GREAT
Yes! it's true! that was gratifying! hahahh investigating the reaction?
Hmmm but no, it wasn't to encourage me to do digital, we were both doing traditional art at the time, but it was something much bigger and she made it possible!
Hmmmm ohhhh wowowwwww! that you think that, it is really flattering!
Thank you for your good wishes, I will do my best!
The week has been very busy, but that's good, right? I'm still doing some pending things, learning others and working on others for the near future. The good thing is that the head has behaved in the last two days!
Thank you, happy start of the month!
Glad to hear your head is behaving and that you are good busy lately. I'm sure your works that are pending will turn out fabulous. Have a great weekend and i look forward to checking out your new stuff. Now, GET BACK TO WORK! hahaha
Yes! I hope it continues like this!! since I have to focus and it wouldn't let me hahhah.
A very busy week and if all goes well, the coming months will be too. hhhahh I'm looking for a solution to have several clones to take care of everything hahha.
I'll try to make it good (I can only say that I'm liking the colors.), after seeing it you tell me if it's fabulous or not hahahh
YES! INDEED! I WILL GO TO THAT!
wow, I'm so glad you're experimenting with freer art, it's so fun and beautiful. What do I think? I think I told you that you have done a fabulous job... you know that I love you too and although I did not expect it, these things make me very happy 🥰.
Thank you very much dear friend, I'll keep it ❤
Yes, I like it too, I don't have to worry so much about following the rules or doing details and tidying up, well, I still have the chip of wanting to leave everything tidy hahhah, but I'll learn. !
It made me so happy that you liked what I did to you! you know I appreciate you, I always carry you in my kokoro! hahahahh I know you weren't expecting it, I've been planning it for a long time but I had paused it, but it's good that I didn't lose the format and I was able to finish it.
A biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig huuuuuuug.
