Once in a dream, when the old tram was already on a well-deserved rest on the wonderful paradise planet of trams, he had a dream. Even this was not just a dream, but a memory of those difficult times when he tried for a long time and unsuccessfully to find his place in the sun. He remembered how he found himself on a sunny planet where a once flourishing human civilization had fallen into disrepair. At that time, he was pretty surprised by the fact that for all the desolation that reigned in that world, the planet did not look unhappy at all.
As he later realized, the reason for this was the children who lived on that planet. The little men didn't seem to care that there were only ruins of the old world around them. Everything was filled with young carefree joy, and children's laughter filled the atmosphere of the planet and gave hope for the revival of a dying civilization...
Однажды во сне, когда старый трамвай уже находился на заслуженном отдыхе на чудесной райской планете трамваев, ему приснился сон. Даже это был не просто сон, а воспоминание о тех трудных временах, когда он долго и безуспешно пытался отыскать своё место под солнцем. Ему вспомнилось, как он очутился на одной солнечной планете, где когда-то процветающая цивилизация людей пришла в упадок. Его тогда изрядно удивил тот факт, что при всём царившем в том мире запустении, планета вовсе не выглядела несчастной.
Как он потом понял, причиной тому были дети, которые жили на той планете. Похоже, маленьких человечков вовсе не заботило то, что вокруг них остались лишь развалины прежнего мира. Юной беззаботной радостью было наполнено всё вокруг, а детский смех наполнял атмосферу планеты и вселял надежду на возрождение гибнущей цивилизации...
