Weekend reflections | On nature and the connection we cannot sever

Weekends are for connecting with nature and exploring what is the most valuable within. This author has taken us on an adventure with amazing photos and great words to add to the experience.

One day, when I was little, my mother decided we would stop going to the church on Sundays. Instead, she sat us down, my younger brother and me, and talked about the communion with nature.

'Ikiru' by Akira Kurosawa Review: A life spent unlived tries to find meaning

Take a closer look into the philosophical review from namiks and enjoy the movie like you never did before. It’s full of amazing concepts and great evaluations that are both in the movie and the review.

Often enough, the camera is showing up-close perspectives of our protagonist, but never fails to show him in a room full of people, where he happens to be completely isolated from the atmosphere.

It is a lesson to escape our greatest fears and remain curious. To never forget to learn and discover. To ultimately live, rather than merely exist.

Alien Ant

Tysonjames is back with another amazing illustration of an alien ant, showing us how drawing begins with a few sketches and often goes in different directions.

Here were the initial rough sketches for the piece. None of which ended up being used as reference lol.

Hive Rocks: Tutorial No.1 — How and Where to Find and Select Good Rocks to Paint On!

If you are interested in the unique art of rock painting you will love this introductory post that will show you how to pick the best rock and which one to avoid. We are looking forward to this series, so make sure you are following along as well.

The first thing you have to do is come up with some nice "blank" rocks to use as the "canvases" for your creativity!

I generally find the smoothest and roundest rocks either on the beach, or along the shores of fast flowing rivers, where centuries of being tumbled by the water has made their surfaces very smooth.

This author brings us to the kitchen and prepares one delicious and autumn-appropriate pumpkin pie. Come for the delicious recipe and stay for even better photos.

Delicious, healthy and keeps for a long period, what better than that!
Today I will share with you the recipe for a pie that is not only beautiful, but also very tasty and healthy (except for the sugar, which can be replaced with stevia + erythritol)
