My 2022 Art Recap Part 2 - Cats !

Hi everyone! This post is a recap of my various 2022 Cats :D There will be one more and last part for my other 2022 paintings. Decided to keep this post simple, or I'd keep delaying it for ages :) It has been a surprisingly busy start of the year, can't wait to share what I'm working on.

CAuTion! The Cats have Seized the Memes of Production! Their message reads: So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Athens... by the sea.

Change of scenery as we are visiting Athens for a few days, combining work, friends and family. No mountains this time, this is a walk by the coastline :)

And this is the look of a confused (countryside raised) dog that can't understand why it takes so long for all these cars to pass and why we have to wait. Truth is that these traffic lights last really long. We are in Palaio Faliro, a southern neighbor of Athens and we are ready to cross the busy coastal avenue that will take us to the beach.

St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague (22 photos)

After many posts from various places visited during the trip to the Czech Republic, it's time for a post related to its main goal, i.e. Prague. We had only 5 days for the whole trip, and we started by car from the vicinity of Szczecin, so we also lost a lot of time on the route itself. We spent one whole day visiting Prague, which is not much for this city. So we had to limit ourselves to only a few popular places of this city. One of such places is, of course, Prague Castle. In terms of the area of land that this complex occupies, it is the largest in the world.

In the House of Shelly – New Gothic Horror

One of the women in the Victorian lives on the third and top floor. She has flaming red hair. She is the queen.

In the basement, which is dark and grimy, the blonde woman waits. She is the one, now. I have to creep in through the bulkhead, at night, after passing through the garden cemetery that is adorned with weeping willows and enclosed, on three sides, by a brick wall armored with wrought iron spikes.

I creep because the queen is angry with me, and there are 27 women in the house, all at her command.

The Stilty-Legged Sand Stabber

The Stilty-Legged Sand Stabber is endemic to the wild coasts of the borderlands of Southern California. It subsists primarily on surf-dwelling gummy worms and apple cores, but has on occasion been known to eat from the beached corpses of composers of nautical prose, who, once inspired by Melville and Verne, eventually succumbed to the siren song of the sea after sleeping on the deck in a monsoon without a rope and their last two Lucky Strikes in a soft pack in the back pocket of their skinny jeans.*

Exciting And Action-Packed — Review Of TV Series: Kung Fu (2021)

I'm not a huge fan of martial arts shows, but I do enjoy some action-packed series with a comedic twist. I was intrigued when I saw the trailer for the CW's Kung Fu, especially since the main character is a woman and it features a modern setting.

I understand this series is a reboot of an old series of the same name which aired from 1972-1975 but the writers deviate completely from the old one.

A review of "Mean Streets": the internal conflict of our multiple personalities

The scene is in New York, Little Italy. Young Italian-American Charlie Cappa (Harvey Keitel) is followed on his numerous misadventures. He is a sensitive young man who struggles with his dislike of his environment and the ties of friendship that were forged there. He works for his uncle, a strong local boss, who hopes to, one day, offer him more challenging work than the straightforward ones he currently assigns him.

Charlie's life forces him to constantly choose between his human and religious consciences: he must find a mean to pay his "debts," but he also has moral principles and a strong Christian faith.
