Hello chess fans, today I played a three-minute blitz game on lichess, in which I managed to carry out a nice attack whose mate motif ultimately inspired me to create the chess composition shown below.

Hallo Schachfans, heute spielte ich auf lichess eine Dreiminutenblitzschachpartie, in der mir ein schöner Angriff gelang, dessen Mattmotiv mich letztlich dazu inspirierte, die unten abgebildete Schachkomposition zu kreieren.

Respecting the theme given there are three possible starting moves (Qd7, Qe6, Qd3). Qd7 and Qe6 clearly do not work so attention will shift to Qd3. Which works but I will not go through the variations in order not to ruin the joy of solving this one :)

Wenn Weiß 2. Txh5 spielt 2. ... Th1+, 3. Kxh1 Df1+ nebst 4. ... Dxg2 ++
Wenn Weiß 2. Tg3 spielt, 2 ... fxg3+, 3. fxg3 (3. Kh1 Th1 ++) Th1+, 4. Kxh1 Df1+, 5. Kh2 Dg2 ++
Aber ich hätte das in einer 3 Minuten-Blitzpartie wohl kaum gefunden, vielleicht mit 3 Minuten pro Zug :-)
Und wenn Weiß 2. Td5 spielt?
Jedenfalls betrachte ich das Problem nun als gelöst: @arrrchmage fand den Schlüsselzug, und du hast einige exakte Varianten beigesteuert.
Nach 2. Tg3 gewinnt übrigens 2. ... Df1 am schnellsten.
Ich werde nun eine detaillierte Lösung veröffentlichen.
Nach 2. Td5 würde ich wohl Df1 mit der Drohung Dxg2 ++ in Betracht ziehen, aber ich denke ich schaue mir jetzt mal die detaillierte Lösung an ...
Well, after 1)...f3+ 2) g3 Rh1+ 3)Kxh1 Qd1+ 4)Kh2 Qf1 the mare on g2 is unstoppable.
But still calculating 2)Be5 fxg2 3) Bxd6 Rh1+ 4) Kg3 g1= Q+ and not sure if it's mate but black are totally winning here

Can black continue to attack now or does actually white win?
Also consider 1. ... Qe5!

I see the winning move for white but don't post it yet, as I don't want to give the readers a very strong hint on what could be the solution of my chess puzzle. :)
Yes, tactical themes repeat in chess and makes it interesting and fun to research similar games and positions. This is the last game of the 2016 world championship when Carlsen won the match and defended his title against Sergey Karjakin. The commentators went crazy when Carlsen found the winning move :).

Well, so I am kind of a little Carlsen (you will see that if you replay the linked blitz game in my post): I found a similar move like Carlsen in a three-minutes blitz game, hehe. :-)
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the puzzle with no success. It's amazing you found it in such a short time.
Well, the bltz game I played gave me only the inspiration to create the chess puzzle, which I posted here.
(In the blitz game I actually saw the decisive attack already when I played the prepairing move h5!)
In the past, when I was still more active on HIVE, I have composed many chess riddles which is why the number of this chess problem is that high (82).
Finally got it after using the other games as reference and knowing h3 as the crucial square.
OK, but let's focus on my chess riddle now.
The move is definitely 1... f3+ and the variant with g3 leads to mate for sure, but I can't see the variant with 2. Ae5 fxg2 and 3. Rxg2 ;-; This is a pretty tricky one tbh.

1 ... f4-f3+, wenn 2. g2-g3 dann 2. ... Td1-h1+, 3. K x h1 Dd6-d1+, 4. Kh1-h2 Dd1-f1 nebst 5 ... Df1-g2 ++
wenn 2. Kh2-h3 dann 2. ,,, Td1-h1 ++
Dann kann Weiß aber 2. Le5, 2. Te5 oder 2. De5 spielen, auch wenn 2. ... f3xg2 sehr gute aussieht wird es wohl nicht Matt in 5 ... Ich denke ich muss nochmal reinschauen ... wieviel Zeit bleibt denn noch ?
Also, es ist so, dass mir die Idee für das Schachproblem kam, nachdem ich die im Post verlinkte Blitzpartie gespielt hatte. Die Züge in der Partie waren etwas einfacher zu finden - kannst sie ja mal nachspielen (dort sah ich den entscheidenden Angriff übrigens bereits, als ich vorbereitend h5 spielte).
Ja, ich schaue mir die Partie mal an, wollte ich nicht tun so lange ich noch an der Lösung suche, denn dann nehme ich mir ja die Freude am Knobbeln,
Schön mal wieder ein Rätsel von Dir. Damit unser Brain nicht einrostet.

(Aber ich gebe zu, es wäre unfair, von einem Nichtvereinsschachspieler hier einen Lösungsweg zu erwarten.)
Ich habe früher viel Schach gespielt. Am Anfang noch mit einem Schach Computer. Das Spiel fasziniert mich immer noch und ich denke gerne darüber nach. Aber 5 Züge ist schon hart!
