It been a while since I posted.
It been a while since I reported.
It been a while since I had less errors than my opponents.
Less than 1700 is not really impressive in the chess community; However if you wake at three in the morning the rational thing to do is play a game of chess (yes/no)…
My chess play in this tournament is not technical correct according to stockfish because it never agrees with the bishop sacrifice (I think the bishop sacrifice is appropriate because I believe the Bishop to be Dangerous and Sneaky), this tournament was played quickly / instinctively without much thought. You can see more of my mindless, carefree but winning chess play here: https://lichess.org/tournament/nZ9C9PXw
My advice: Don’t be afraid to sacrifice any piece! (you only need three pieces or less to checkmate your opponents...)
Because I really like winning I will share a few games openings that was routine but interesting to me (just be aware that 70% of my games include a bishop sacrifice in the opening).

I have to admit that (1. P-K4); (2. N-B3); (3. B-B4) is still my favorite opening even after 50 years...

I believe that the bishop sacrifice and the threat of the Bishop sacrifice is a very powerful and safe move. The Knight sacrifice for two Pawns is also a very good sacrifice too even though I don’t recall using it recently.
The purpose of the early bishop sacrifice is clearly use to open and disrupt your opponents defense. It does a great job of it too, not allowing your opponents to castle and lose moves trying to defend the King. However in the Hive Chess Tournaments it is not enough to just open and disrupt your opponents defense because most all play a very strong end game.
I have mention before in a jokingly but seriously way that the bishop can sneak up on you. Even the opening bishop sacrifice is very sneaky. As powerful and dangerous as the bishop is you will find not many use it as their profile or symbol of strength. Of course I use the Rod - ROOK, powerful and honorable, many other use the KNIGHT. I like the bishop as much as I like all the pieces but many people use the bishop to checkmate me and I am always surprise. As a matter of fact my first year playing chess on the blockchain @schamangerbert checkmated me with the bishop and queen almost every time. I could never see it coming and couldn’t stop it :):).
