As you know I've been making a series of each of the characters that impacted me in the Saint Seiya animated series, it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. There are so many warrior characters, a super team like no other. This time I bring you none other than the knight of Andromeda, Ikki's beloved younger brother Shun. This knight has a great personality, his power is also a bit related to the cosmo. Shun is a very different character from his brother, in fact, they don't even look alike physically. There is an abysmal difference in character between the two, but I also find him very interesting as he is like something that can be very good for the plot.
Much loved by his brother, one of his reasons for fighting, this knight has great strength and is excellent at fighting, has a super weapon, the chain of Andromeda with not only serves as a fight but also to protect the most innocent. I love Shun as he has a very marked personality in that he has a very high level of compassion, that empathy makes him undoubtedly special, he always wants to solve things in a peaceful way with his enemies. But we know that's not a good idea sometimes.
Shun is a gentleman of very calm and mediator, this can often make him look weak but he never hesitates to protect his loved ones over any adversary, he is loyal and also has a great willpower, he knows what his duty is above all.
Like any gentleman, Shun has his weaknesses, but particularly those that are also strengths can lead him to make mistakes, he is very compassionate at times and this makes him not know how to make decisions quickly, he is very overprotective and a great emotional dependence, which would be a very marked bond with his brother and his friends that this can sometimes play against him. Shun is a character very different from all of them, I think he is the one who least meets the standards we are used to, I find this character fascinating, he came to give us a different vision of a warrior with a huge heart.
Yes, he has many insecurities, but that does not make him less, his power of justice and combat skills make him unique, he makes mistakes because of his high empathy or for being too good, but he always gets the victory, as we know he also has his dark side who he faces, but he always finds resilience.

Shun is one of the most interesting characters. I hate it when they try to change him. In the remakes or live action they changed his genre and it sucked.

Not bad. A few weeks ago I was thinking about making a series of texts about presenting characters in a slightly different way than the classic Wikipedia does :D. I don't like Shun, one of the worst characters in battle shounen that I know of. Additionally, he has always reminded me of an extremely effeminate boy, which makes it impossible for me to focus on the show.
