Fan art - Luffy / ルフィーを描きました

As a part of learning of drawing in grayscale and semi-realism, I decided to draw some portraits of anime/manga characters.
I made 6 rough sketches the other day. Now, I’m going to finish them one by one.

First one is Luffy. Luffy is a character from One Piece.
My rough sketch is on the left. I usually blend as I add more details.

グリザイユ＆セミリアルで描く練習続きます。
先日描いたラフ画を仕上げていこうと思います。ラフ画を描いた時の投稿はこちらです。
今日はルフィーを仕上げようと思います。
先日描いたラフ画は一番左です。これを気に入った形になるまで、描いてはブレンドする作業を続けます。
かなり自分の好みに描いてます。似ているのは頬と胸の傷あとだけですね、笑

更に描き加えてグリザイユ（一番右）出来上がりです。

Grayscale to colour...
Luffy has very dark hair. I find dark hair is hard to colour so I decided to leave quite a bit of the environmental colours showing.

グリザイユで描いたものに色をのせます。
ルフィーは黒髪なので、塗り方悩みます。
黒く塗りつぶしたくなかったので、環境光を生かしながら塗ってみました。

I always have to go back to the grayscale drawing and fix here and there while making it into a post because I see mistakes.
I fixed up his hair, face line and made his hair darker.
I’m very certain that I will find more places that I want to fix later but this is it for now.

最終段階。。。描いたらブログの記事を書くのですが、眺めれば眺めるほどミスが目につきます。ブログを書きながら髪、輪郭、髪色、グリザイユに戻って直しました。
多分まだあるはずですが、これで出来上がりとします。
また頑張ります。
