One Piece 1133 - Comparison with manga and review (ENG-ESP)

And we're back with the One Piece anime, I've been a little absent from everything because a week ago I had a wisdom tooth extraction and the recovery has been quite slow, so I didn't want to be so long sitting at the pc, but now I feel better and I'm looking forward to continue making posts. This week's episode of One Piece anime, 1133, adapts in its entirety the whole chapter 1099 of the manga, which, I consider that this episode of the anime surpassed what was seen in the pages of the manga, since besides having made an excellent adaptation by adding new scenes compared to the manga and also extending some scenes compared to certain vignettes of the manga, also the musical work and the voices of the characters were quite outstanding. This was an episode that like in the manga felt quite fast to watch and although interesting things happen, they really happen quite fast or at least that was my perspective and it felt more like a transitional episode/chapter of what is to come, which is more interesting and informative, although that does not mean that this particular one was not.

Episode 1133 of the One Piece anime begins by showing us the wreckage and chaos being caused by the King and his lackeys, who let's remember that previously the Revolutionary Army had driven them out and overthrown them, but in the previous episode we were shown that they had returned with more vengeance. The King's lackeys have set a huge fire in the poorest village in the kingdom, thus killing a lot of people and although Kuma went to their aid, it was already too late. I must emphasize that both in the manga and in the anime, Kuma's fury at that moment was spectacularly represented, being this one of the drawings that Oda has done where the anger of a character is quite projected and in the anime they also made an excellent adaptation of that page of the manga.

Kuma goes to the king's palace and after defeating his lackeys, he attacks the king by expelling them once and for all. Being later that the action of Kuma was reported directly to Saturn, which is the cause of almost all the bad things that Kuma has lived. A little time passes and peace returns to the kingdom and this time Kuma was elected as the new king of the kingdom, being a decision that Kuma does not like much, but even so he accepts in a certain way. In this moment where we see for the first time Bonney's adult form, something that surprises everyone since it was something totally unexpected, everyone believes that she has eaten an “Akuma No Mi”; although that will be explained later, because it really wasn't like that.

The real king of the country goes to the church to show Kuma what is being said about him in the newspapers and Kuma is branded as a throwaway who has expelled the former king with violence, so Kuma decides to leave the kingdom as he can not live there while they have the threat of the former king on them, so he decides to leave and also go in search of the cure for Bonney's disease. On his journey he finds the former King of the Sorbet kingdom along with a fleet of ships that are going to attack him and this moment in the anime was done in a spectacular way, not only because the animation when Kuma attacks the ships is visually outstanding, but the animators, as a way of joke recreated the famous Willem Dafoe meme, which for this situation where they are seeing that Kuma is charging a huge attack towards them, fits perfectly. This way Kuma wipes out the king and the navy fleet once and for all. Although I can't explain why Kuma didn't finish off this king earlier when he was attacking the palace.

Anyway, Kuma begins his journey towards finding something or someone that can help Bonney cure his illness, during his journey we see the places where Kuma would send the Straw Hats after he separated them in the Sabaody Archipelago. Which is something quite interesting to see since we are shown that Kuma didn't send them to random places, but rather he had those places already pretty much planned out so that Luffy, Zoro and the others, could train very well. Later Kuma meets Dragon and the Revolutionary Army again and Dragon tells him to go meet Vegapunk, which he is sure he will help him find the cure for Bonney's illness. Kuma goes with Bonney to where Vegapunk is, which would be the island that would later be called “Egghead” and curiously at that point in the story Vegapunk had not yet cut off his head and much less had made his clones (Satelites). And after an interesting conversation between Kuma and Vegapunk, in which Kuma agrees to be a kind of experiment for Vegapunk to the point of making clones of him since Vegapunk is surprised to learn that Kuma is a Buccaneer, begins what would be the beginning of the “end of Kuma's consciousness”, since he would start the “Pacifist” project.

A pretty good episode, excellently adapted, which I personally liked much more than the pages of the manga. Unfortunately the next episode is a compilation of past episodes, so to see the continuation of this story we will have to wait a week and a few days more.

Y estamos de vuelta con el anime de One Piece, he estado un poco ausente de todo porque hace una semana tuve una extracción de cordal y la recuperación ha sido algo bastante lenta, por lo que no quería estar tanto tiempo sentando en la pc, pero ya me siento mejor y con ganas de seguir haciendo posts. El episodio de One Piece del anime de esta semana, el 1133 adapta en su totalidad todo el capítulo 1099 del manga, el cual, considero que este episodio del anime supero a lo visto en las páginas del manga, ya que además de haber hecho una excelente adaptación al agregar nuevas escenas a comparación del manga y además, extender algunas escenas a comparación a ciertas viñetas del manga, también el trabajo musical y en las voces de los personajes estuvo bastante sobresaliente. Este fue un episodio que al igual que en el manga se sintió bastante rápido de ver y es que aunque ocurren cosas interesantes realmente pasan bastante rápido o al menos así fue mi perspectiva y lo sentí más bien como un episodio/capitulo transitorio de lo que viene, lo cual es más interesante e informativo, aunque eso no quiere decir que este en concreto no lo fuese.

El episodio 1133 del anime de One Piece empieza mostrándonos el destrozo y el caos que está provocando el Rey y sus lacayos, que recordemos que anteriormente el Ejército Revolucionario los había expulsado y derrocado, pero en el episodio anterior se nos mostró que había vuelto con más venganza. Los lacayos del rey han provocado un enorme incendio en el pueblo más pobre del reino, matando así a un montón de personas y aunque Kuma fue en su ayuda, ya era demasiado tarde. Debo destacar que tanto en el manga, como en el anime se logró representar espectacularmente la furia de Kuma en ese momento, siendo este una de los dibujos que ha hecho Oda donde refleja la ira de un personaje se ve bastante proyectada y en el anime también hicieron una excelente adaptación de esa página del manga.

Kuma va hacia el palacio del rey y al derrotar a sus lacayos este ataca al rey expulsándolos de una vez por todas. Siendo posteriormente que la acción de Kuma fue informada directamente hacia Saturn, el cual es el causante de casi todas las cosas malas que ha vivido Kuma. Pasa un poco de tiempo y la paz vuelve al reino y esta vez Kuma fue elegido como el nuevo rey del reino, siendo una decisión a la que Kuma no le gusta mucho, pero aun asa acepta de cierta manera. En este momento donde vemos por primera vez la forma adulta de Bonney, algo que sorprende a todos ya que fue algo totalmente inesperado, todos creen que ella ha comido una “Akuma No Mi”; aunque eso se va a explicar mas adelante, porque realmente no fue así.

El verdadero rey del país va a la iglesia para mostrarle a Kuma lo que se está diciendo sobre él en los periódicos y es que tachan a Kuma de un tirado que ha expulsado al anterior rey con violencia, por lo que Kuma decide irse del reino ya que no podrá vivir ahí mientras tengan la amenaza del anterior rey sobre ellos, por lo que decide partir y además, ir en búsqueda de la cura para la enfermedad de Bonney. En su viaje encuentra al anterior Rey del reino Sorbet junto con una flota de barcos que van a atacarlo y este momento en el anime fue hecho de manera espectacular, no solo porque la animación cuando Kuma ataca a los barcos es visualmente sobresaliente, sino que los animadores, como forma de chiste recrearon el famoso meme de Willem Dafoe, el cual para esta situación donde están viendo que Kuma está cargando un enorme ataque hacia ellos, queda a la perfección. De esta manera Kuma acaba con el rey y la flota de la marina de una vez por todas. Aunque no me explico porque Kuma no acabo con este rey anteriormente cuando fue atacar el palacio.

En fin, Kuma empieza su viaje hacia la búsqueda de algo o alguien que pueda ayudar a Bonney a curar su enfermedad, durante su viaje vemos de los lugares a donde Kuma enviaría a Los Sombrero de Paja luego de que él los separara en el Archipiélago de Sabaody. Lo cual es algo bastante interesante de ver ya que se nos muestra que Kuma no los envió a lugares aleatorios, sino que tenía ya esos lugares bastante planeados para que Luffy, Zoro y los demás, pudieran entrenar muy bien. Posteriormente Kuma se encuentra nuevamente con Dragon y el Ejército Revolucionario y Dragón le dice que vaya a conocer Vegapunk, el cual está seguro que él lo ayudara a encontrar la cura para la enfermedad de Bonney. Kuma va junto con Bonney hacia donde se encuentra Vegapunk, la cual sería la isla que posteriormente se llamaría “Egghead”y curiosamente en ese punto de la historia Vegapunk aún no se había cortado su cabeza y mucho menos había hechos a sus clones (Satelites). Y luego de una interesantemente conversación entre Kuma y Vegapunk, en la que Kuma acepta ser una especie de experimento para Vegapunk a tal punto de hacer clones de él ya que Vegapunk se sorprende al enterarse de que Kuma es un Buccaner, empieza lo que sería el inicio del “fin de la conciencia de Kuma”, ya que iniciaría el proyecto de los “Pacifista”.

Un episodio bastante bueno, excelentemente adaptado, el cual personalmente me gustó mucho más que las páginas del manga. Lastimosamente el próximo episodio es uno recopilatorio de episodios pasados, por lo que para poder ver la continuación de esta historia tendremos que esperar una semana y unos días mas.
