Story&Summary
This story is basically about a little boy named Amanda who has an imaginary friend named Rudger. Amanda suffers a lot when she loses her father, which results in the birth of a strange friend named Rudger in her imagination. Rudger is basically an imaginary friend that only Amanda can see. Amanda comes home from school and plays with him, and they have a lot of fun and emotional moments together. But there is a problem in this imaginary life that if someone forgets them, they slowly disappear.
On the other hand, Mr. Bunting is a man who captures the imaginary friends he makes and eats them to increase his power. He believes that if he destroys the imaginary world, people will return to reality. Amanda and her imaginary friend run away from him.
While running away, they get into an accident with a car and end up in the hospital.A character named Emily is added, who is also an imaginary friend and wants to save her imaginary friends.Rudger slowly realizes that if Amanda forgets him, he will slowly disappear.
Amanda, on the other hand, slowly starts to forget him as she grows up. Towards the end of this story, Amanda reconnects with her mother's memories and realizes her fantasy world. She tries to remember Rudger and through her love, Rudger comes back to life.
My Explanation
The Imaginary is an anime that reminds us how beautiful the fantasy world really is. When we were young, we used to imagine that there was a fairyland, this, that, and many other things, they were actually our imaginations. The anime was released on 15 December 2023 and this anime was written by Yoshiaki Nishimura. It is made entirely of imagination, so there is no action here. I hope you like it. This story is not just a children's story, there is some story behind it, if you pay attention, you will understand that we dream about the people we love. In our childhood, we also liked some thing or the other and that thing came into our imagination. This story shows exactly that. Although the fantasy world is not a part of real life, it is embedded in our mind. But the fantasy world slowly ends when we grow up.
The animation of this anime is amazing. The characters here are very beautifully designed and animated. The character design, background and use of colors in this anime are so beautiful that you can get into the story when you watch the anime. Especially the fictional world here is presented very beautifully. It seemed like a world full of magic and colors that catches the eye. I really liked it. If we talk about the soundtrack and voice, then it is really amazing. The background sound and voice of this anime are presented very beautifully. I think you will not see any difference here.
This story may seem a bit slow to you. The characters here are very beautifully portrayed by this animator. The most emotional moment is towards the end of this animated film which can bring tears to the eyes of the audience. This anime is not for those of you who like action anime but if you like to watch a heart-warming and different anime, this is the best anime. I hope you like today's anime.
