Hello to all the community of The Anime Realm, today I come to talk about one of the anime of the season and that despite literally not having but not the slightest idea of what it would be about or what would be your animation studio or something, has pleasantly surprised me and in recent years we have seen in the industry as the adaptation of light novels have become a great success (cases like SaO or Overlord) and really after having seen several chapters of this anime, I think this could be one of those successes, so without further ado let's start talking about Sabikui Bisco.

This post-apocalyptic anime with a rather psychedelic touch at times presents us with a Japan destroyed and consumed by a disease called The Oxidizing Wind, which as its name suggests is responsible for oxidizing people (as happens with metals) and slowly consuming them. In this world, mushrooms are blamed for having spread this disease and those known as the Protectors of mushrooms are hunted because they are considered terrorists responsible for spreading the disease.

In this anime we will have two protagonists, the young doctor Milo Nekoyanagi, the one in charge of his district (quite low class we must say) is in charge of taking care and curing all the people that his abilities allow him to help, this makes him very loved in the red light district (very interesting haha) besides being overprotected by his sister Pawoo who is the captain of the Vigilantes but due to the Rust has seen her physical abilities diminished so Milo does not rest and tries with different fungi (illegally) to be able to cure his sister.

The other protagonist of this story is the mushroom protector Bisco Akaboshi, a mushroom protector obviously classified as a terrorist and who has the nickname of the Cannibal Mushroom (which is not cannibal haha) and who travels along with his master Jabi and his "brother" and means of transportation a giant crab called Actagawa, Bisco and Jabi are on a journey to find the cure for the Rust disease since Jabi also suffers from it and when by chance they enter the city where Milo lives, their paths will be united and this great adventure will begin.

Something I really like about this anime is its setting and it is not only a post apocalyptic style but also reminds us a little bit of the old west but with a very very psychedelic touch and that more nothing to say that the means of transport of our protagonists is a giant crab and puts things very funny haha also have very unusual animals like giant balloon fish that float in the air or airplanes attached to snails.

And as in all good anime of this style we have as one of the villains a corrupt governor and lust for power that will not be measured to achieve more and more control over the government, even having its own force of order separate from the vigilantes, and is that although we still do not know much of Governor Kurokara we can expect to be an excellent villain.

Despite having only 8 chapters so far, Sabikui Bisco has managed to hook me enough and have me waiting every Monday for his new chapter, plus its opening is very entertaining and its animation quality is very good, it is certainly a work that I recommend if you want to see a Shonēn a little out of the ordinary, without more to add I hope you are great and we'll see each other in another post.
Hola a toda la comunidad de The Anime Realm, hoy vengo a hablarles de uno de los animes de la temporada y que a pesar de literal no tener pero ni la más mínima idea de sobre que trataría ni cuál sería su estudio de animación o algo, me ha sorprendido gratamente y es que en los últimos años hemos visto en la industria como la adaptación de novelas ligeras a llegado a tener un gran éxito (casos como SaO o Overlord) y realmente luego de haber visto varios capítulos de este anime, considero que esté podría ser uno de esos éxitos, así que sin más que agregar empecemos a hablar de Sabikui Bisco.

Este anime post apocalíptico y con un toque bastante psicodelico en algunos momentos nos presenta un Japón destruido y consumido por una enfermedad llamada El Viento Oxidante, la cual como su nombre lo indica se encarga de oxidar a las personas (como ocurre con los metales) y consumirlas lentamente. En este mundo se culpa a los hongos de haber contagiado está enfermedad y a aquellos conocidos como los Protectores de hongos se les da cacería por considerarse a estos como terroristas encargados de esparcir la enfermedad.

En este anime tendremos a dos protagonistas, el joven doctor Milo Nekoyanagi, el encargado de en su distrito (bastante clase baja debemos decir) se encarga de cuidar y curar a todas las personas que sus capacidades le permite ayudar esto hace que sea muy querido en el barrio rojo (muy interesante jaja) además de ser sobreprotegido por su hermana Pawoo quien es la capitana de los Vigilantes pero que debido a subir del Óxido ha visto mermadas sus capacidades físicas por lo tanto Milo no descansa y prueba con diferentes hongos (de manera ilegal) para poder curar a su hermana.

El otro protagonista de esta historia es el protector de hongos Bisco Akaboshi, un protector de hongos catalogado obviamente como un terrorista y que posee el apodo del Hongo Caníbal (que no es caníbal jaja) y que viaja junto con su maestro Jabi y su "hermano" y medio de transporte un cangrejo gigante llamado Actagawa, Bisco y Jabi se encuentran en un viaje para encontrar la cura para la enfermedad del Óxido ya que Jabi también sufre de esta y cuando por casualidad entran a la ciudad en la que vive Milo, sus caminos se verán unidos y empezará está genial aventura.

Algo que me gusta mucho de este anime es su ambientación y es que no solo es un estilo post apocalíptico sino que también nos recuerda un poco al viejo oeste pero con un toque muy muy podemos decir psicodelico y que más nada con decir que el medio de transporte de nuestros protagonistas es un cangrejo gigante ya pone las cosas muy divertidas jaja además tendremos animales muy fuera de lo común como peces globo gigantes que flotan en el aire o aviones unidos a caracoles.

Y como en todo buen anime de este estilo tenemos como uno de los villanos a un gobernador corrupto y con ansias de poder que no se medirá para lograr tener cada vez más control sobre el gobierno, teniendo inclusive su propia fuerza de orden separada de los vigilantes, y es que apesar de que aún no sabemos mucho del gobernador Kurokara podemos esperar que será un excelente villano.

A pesar de solo contar con 8 capítulos hasta el momento, Sabikui Bisco ha logrado engancharme bastante y tenerme esperando cada lunes por su nuevo capítulo, además su opening es muy entretenido y su calidad de animación es muy buena, sin duda alguna es una obra que les recomiendo si quieren ver un Shonēn un poco fuera de lo común, sin más que agregar espero se encuentren genial y nos veremos en otro post.
