A few days ago I received a gift from my mother that was quite surprising to me, not because of the fact that she gave me a gift, but because of what this one turned out to be. I've been a fan of anime for years, but I'd say she has zero knowledge about it, so the fact that this lego you'll see below is from Mugiwara no Luffy made it that much more interesting. Believe me she has no idea what she gave me, but I let her know how relevant this One Piece character we love so much is to me.
The small blue box does not say anywhere that the character is Luffy, but I think it is clear that this is the most famous pirate in the world of manga and anime, clothes and hat give it away. Inside the box there are only two elements, a bag with the 480 pieces and a sheet with instructions divided into 6 steps.

Once I started the assembly of this lego, I could realize that it would be a complex task for my fingers, to join each piece you have to join them through small hooks, or something like that, and that hurt my fingers, sometimes it was harder than it should be and when applying more force my fingers were irritated, but it was nothing that could not be overcome. After a few minutes the legs and torso were in shape, and well, it looked like it was going to be over quickly, but I was wrong.

I put together piece by piece according to the instructions, I made a couple of mistakes and because of that I had to take apart what I had already done, but I continued without stopping because I didn't want to leave it for later, so after a few minutes the head had a shape, so the hat would be the next challenge to finish the job.

It took me a couple of hours to finish this Mugiwara no Luffy lego that I must say I loved, it's like a pixelated Luffy from an 80's video game. Right now this one is on top of my computer masterfully adorning my work area.

Building this lego awakened a kind of fever in me, so soon I will buy others to collect progressively iconic anime characters, of course, it also depends on what characters are available in the toy store, but for now, I will enjoy this beautiful gift that my mother gave me. A big hug to all of you.

This Mugiwara no Luffy Lego looks great, very nice. By the way, I've always had the interest to watch the anime One Piece, But I haven't encouraged myself because it's too long and I might get envy 😅, but I don't rule out watching it in the future.
Great post buddy. Cheers.
It takes a lot of time to watch One Piece, there are more than a thousand chapters and counting haha, but I tell you it's worth it, it's a wonderful story.
Greetings!
I love immensely these legos blocks, for me they are very relaxing, even if the pieces are small, but I love to build and see the final result. What a nice gift you have received. I hope you can build many more.
Yes, the pieces are quite small and uncomfortable, but it is well worth it, the result is lovely. And yes, I plan to make many more.
Greetings friend, it is incredible that there are this type of figures but that can be assembled by pieces and thus be able to spend a great time of fun and at the same time put to think a little to get to assemble it. I do not know that character, but it looks very good and great that you managed to put it together.
The truth is that I had a lot of fun in the process, as it was taking shape I was excited because I could already see that the result would be great. The character is Mugiwara no Luffy, one of the famous anime One Piece.
Great, you have to keep adding more.
I've been a lego lover since childhood, I had several and inherited some from my mother. I'm not a One Piece lover (don't hate me), but these kits are great. I saw a post, in another community, of a Naruto one, I actually want one. I'll have to see what else there is. The process of assembling these pieces is something of detail, concentration and patience, but to see how it is progressing and see the final result, is pure satisfaction what you feel.
I used to like legos when I was a kid too, but nowadays there is nothing left of that, all these were lost in time. And well, you don't like One Piece, but it's all a matter of taste, I know other people who don't like it but I really don't understand them haha. Greetings!
My son does like it and knows the characters, but I'm all lost when I watch it. As you say, it's a matter of taste, maybe it's the animation that isn't entirely pleasing to me, maybe as the anime progresses it's changing? 🤣🤣🤣
I didn't love it either when I first saw it, but I gave it a chance and after a while I was hooked.
This Lego set of our Captain Luffy is awesome. Where I live, there's a store that has a bunch of those characters. I once bought a 1,000-piece Mario set and never got around to putting it together.
This was definitely a great gift.
It would be great if you put together that Mario lego and share it with the community, although a thousand pieces sounds like double the work compared to this one I share, good luck with that haha. And yes, it was a beautiful gift.
It brought back memories of when I played with Legos, I still have them, but they are stored unused haha
What a beautiful gift your mom gave you and the most adorable thing is that she had no idea what she gave you haha moms always know, whether by chance or not 😂
Enjoy it and I hope you can get more pieces of other characters, the design is beautiful! 😍
Yes, it seems that mothers have an instinct to give things as gifts even if they have no knowledge of our tastes. It would be great to see those legos you have in storage, there sure are a lot of interesting things, everything old is.
When I see these things made out of LEGO, I'm a bit perplexed. When I was a child, the most I could do was stick one to the other and hope it didn't fall on the floor.
