Wow... I'm a sucker for anime or movies that would make me think about a lot of things and from your review, I'm more than interested to give this a shot. I'm also not that much of a mecha fan, though I love Code Geass and I enjoyed watching Full Metal Panic! as well. I guess, I've only watched these plus Star Driver and Gundam Wing (which I barely remember as I've watched it as a child).

I think if you give it a chance you will like it, beyond being a story of humans and robots, there are important philosophical and moral aspects. Greetings!

That's great! That's kind of my cup of tea... 🍵😂

This anime blew my mind, it explore themes about humanity, war and AI in such an interesting and meaningful way. Have you watched Monster? It is from the same author.

So far I haven't seen Monster, but I've only heard very good things about this one. And yes, Pluto is spectacular, it was worth watching.

If you like psychological thrillers, you are going to enjoy it.

From what I read, it doesn't seem to be a mecha style as we know it, like Code Gueass or Evangelion, it seems more emotional, I think.

I don't usually watch mecha, not that there are many to choose from haha but if I like something about this genre, is that it seems so futuristic and unreal but if we analyze, robotics and AI are advancing quite fast and I can't say for sure if in the not too distant future, something like this will happen 👀

Interesting plot, Buhito is going to check it out hehe 🦉

The truth is quite emotional, and well, we don't see giant robots manned by humans as we normally see in mecha. I think the fact that there are robots is merely circumstantial to develop the plot in a deeper way.

Thanks for your visit. Regards!

By chance I had started watching it with a friend and we found out that it was a reboot of astroboy, I didn't give it much importance but I got curious and kept watching it. I really liked the story, here the robots end up being more human than the people themselves, it has managed to excite me a lot in certain moments.

I'm glad you ended up watching Pluto, there are a couple of very important lessons it teaches us, and yes, I got emotional several times too. I think robots end up being more human because they have more common sense about what is right and what is wrong.

For me, this was the anime of the year 2023. When I saw it, it was surprise after wonder and euphoria at the same time. The level that this work has to hook you is spectacular, in addition to giving you that touch of nostalgia with some of its characters.

But, what I love most is that it is a version of "Astro Boy" for adults, combined with Psychologist, Drama, Suspense, Mystery and even a little Thriller. The characters are so excellently developed, the story is so deep and spectacular, and the different action scenes are worth watching and enjoying until the end.

What fascinates me most, apart from the tremendous animation and the story it has, is the way in which it deals with the topic of Robots and AIs and how they can even evolve to such an such a point of feeling emotions like a human being. The process of transformation from Love to Hate and how the kindest being can become a monster is also something shocking in a work like this. It is very noticeable how the author manages to combine so many elements, references from other works and inspirations for this wonder.

Personally, I give it a well-deserved 10/10.

I've only seen the first chapter... but it looks like it will be a very interesting series to analyze.

It really catches my attention. Unlike you I do like this mecha genre, that connection between humans and machines has always seemed interesting to me. And that's just it, there's always something deeper there that makes the story deeper. For example, I remember that in Evangelion the psychological background was brutal, I don't know how one being almost a child could see it. As an adult I watched it again and I understood many things that I had overlooked before.

This one is noted, I will watch it as soon as I can.

Greetings bro!

Oh, I had this one on my list already, but because my list is so long I always forgot to check this one out. Sooner or later I know I can find a way to watch this out.

I don't really like robot anime either. However, this one entertained me a lot, it has many interesting themes, and I loved the animation! I remember that since I saw the trailer it caught my attention and I was fascinated! Your review is very good! 👌🏼

From the start I didn't really like Netflix's anime, but Pluto is different and maybe I should try watching it before judging, this post is very helpful :) Thank you for sharing.
