Hello to all the members of this community, anime lovers, but especially BL lovers! I have been attending anime events for years, but I had always had the desire to go to those events whose theme is exclusive to my favorite genre: BL. I admit that over the years, I had forgotten about that desire, until I found out that the JINXFEST was going to take place in the city, a small event that has been taking place for all lovers of this genre. And of course, you have to find out @yetsimar @irenenavarroart @tesmoforia @tegoshei @ruffatotmeee @jude.villarta @omokhafue 🌈✨

I found out about the event by chance through their Instagram account and although I don't usually buy tickets in advance (in case something happens and I can't attend later), I decided to take the plunge. With this, I finally pushed myself to cosplay Riki The Dark, one of the protagonists of the BL novel by Rieko Yoshihara: Ai no Kusabi and which is my favorite in this genre. As expected, I showed the procedure for making this simple cosplay on my blog: Top Making - Pants Making.

When the scheduled date arrived, I was extremely nervous, so much so that I accidentally deleted the digital ticket while trying to make room on my phone during my subway ride 🙃 Luckily, I knew the number and was able to get in without any problems. The bar where it was held was somewhat small and completely full of people, but the atmosphere was lively and the decoration made it pleasant. Since I didn't know anyone, at first I just sat there watching haha, but luckily for me, the girls next to me quickly started talking to me (led by BL, obviously haha) and little by little, I started feeling more comfortable.

The first activity that took place was the screening of the anime movie Given. I really enjoyed it, because I wasn't the only one getting excited during the romantic scenes, nor was I the only one making comments about what was happening. It was quite nice and I really liked the snacks we got for watching the movie.

Of course, there were several cosplayers and people dressed up in Halloween themed costumes. The bad thing was that it was difficult to photograph them because of the limited space, so I could only take a few haha ​​but I loved seeing the willingness of others to wear costumes based on their favorite characters.

There was also a dance group that put on a pretty good performance.

On the other hand, there were sales stands and most of them sold items based on Mangas, Manwhas and BL series. Since I'm very outdated, I didn't know almost anything of what I saw haha ​​but at least that helped me control my compulsive buyer side, because in the past, I used to check out every stand at every event I attended and I took almost all the BL material I found 😅

They did a lot of activities and games, like collecting candy, crazy hour, guess the BL opening, and a drawing contest. It was quite exciting because one of the girls I was talking to won the drawing contest and she and her friend were happy. Her drawing was beautiful, just like the rest of the participants.

At this point, I had become more confident and was talking animatedly about BL with the girls, we even danced to the music.

Before the event ended, they raffled off several banners that were displayed on one of the walls. Luckily for me, I was one of the winners haha, I didn't expect that, but even though I haven't read the Manwha that the character belongs to, I still screamed when they said my number. It was pretty exciting to take that baby home 😆

Time passed so fast that when we realized it, the event was already over haha ​​Even though we were all squeezed into that small place, I can say that I enjoyed that event a lot, even more than other big events I've attended.

For the first time in a long time I felt like I was with people with my tastes, not to mention that I accomplished another of my goals, which was to meet new friends in the city. New events and meetings are already being planned, which I hope to attend, if everything goes well.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad, amantes del anime, pero sobre todo del BL! Tengo años asistiendo a eventos animes, pero siempre había tenido el deseo de ir a esos eventos cuya temática es exclusiva a mi género favorito: el BL. Admito que con el pasar de los años, había olvidado ese deseo, hasta que me encontré con que en la ciudad iba a realizarse la JINXFEST, un pequeño evento que viene realizándose para todos los amantes de éste género. Y por supuesto, tienen que enterarse @yetsimar @irenenavarroart @tesmoforia @tegoshei @ruffatotmeee @jude.villarta @omokhafue 🌈✨

Me enteré por casualidad sobre el evento a través de su cuenta de Instagram y aunque no suelo comprar entradas en preventa (por si ocurre algo y no puedo luego asistir), decidí aventurarme a hacerlo. Con esto, me presioné por fin a hacer mi cosplay de Riki The Dark, uno de los protagonistas de la novela BL de Rieko Yoshihara: Ai no Kusabi y el cual, es mi favorito en cuanto a éste género. Como era de esperarse, mostré el procedimiento de realización de éste cosplay sencillo en mi blog: Elaboración Top - Elaboración pantalón.

Llegado el día pautado estaba sumamente nerviosa, tanto que borré por error la entrada digital mientras trataba de hacer espacio en el teléfono durante mi viaje en el subterráneo 🙃 Por suerte, me sabía el número y pude ingresar sin problemas. El bar en dónde se realizó, era algo pequeño y estaba completamente lleno de personas, pero el ambiente se notaba animado y la decoración lo hacía agradable. Como no conocía a nadie, al principio permanecí sentada solamente observando jaja pero, para mi suerte las chicas a mis costados no tardaron en iniciar conversación conmigo (llevadas por el BL, obviamente jaja) y poco a poco, me fui sintiendo más cómoda.

La primera actividad que se realizó, fue la proyección de la película del anime Given. Realmente lo disfruté, porque no era la única emocionada en las escenas románticas, ni tampoco haciendo comentarios sobre lo que sucedía. Fue bastante grato y los snacks que obtuvimos para ver el filme, me gustaron bastante.

Por supuesto, habían varios cosplayers y personas disfrazadas con temática de Halloween. Lo malo era que era difícil fotografiarlos por el poco espacio, así que sólo pude tomar algunas jaja pero me encantó ver la disposición de los demás por usar trajes ambientados en sus personajes favoritos.

También hubo un grupo de baile que realizó una presentación bastante buena.

Por otro lado, habían stands de venta y la mayoría vendían artículos ambientados en Mangas, Manwhas y series BL. Como estoy muy desactualizada, no conocía casi nada de lo que veía jaja pero al menos eso me ayudó a controlar mi parte de compradora compulsiva, porque en el pasado, solía revisar cada stand de cada evento al que asistía y me llevaba casi todo el material BL que encontraba 😅

Hicieron varias dinámicas y juegos, como recolectar caramelos, hora loca, adivina el opening BL y el concurso de dibujo. Fue bastante emocionante porque una de las chicas con las que estaba hablando, resultó ganadora en el concurso de dibujo y ella y su amiga, estaban contentas. Su dibujo era precioso, al igual que el resto de los participantes.

Yo en éste punto, ya había entrado más en confianza y me hallaba hablando sobre BL animadamente con las chicas, hasta bailábamos al ritmo de la música.

Antes de finalizar el evento realizaron la rifa de varios pendones que estaban exhibidos en una de las paredes. Para mi buena suerte, fui una de las ganadoras jaja eso no me lo esperaba, pero aunque no haya leído el Manwha del cual pertenece el personaje, igualmente pegué un grito cuando dijeron mi número. Fue bastante emocionante llevarme ese bebé a casa 😆

El tiempo pasó tan rápido, que cuando nos dimos cuenta, ya el evento había terminado jaja A pesar de que estábamos todos apretados en ese pequeño lugar, puedo afirmar que disfruté muchísimo de ese evento, inclusive mucho más que otros eventos grandes a los cuales he asistido.

Por primera vez en mucho tiempo me sentí con personas con mis gustos, sin mencionar que cumplí con otra de mis metas, la cual era conocer amigos nuevos en la ciudad. Ya se están planeando nuevos eventos y reuniones, a los que espero asistir, si todo sale bien.
