Buenos días, buenas tardes o buenas noches, damas y caballeros.

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, ladies and gentlemen. How are you? How are you doing today? I hope you're doing well. By the way, congratulations to all the fathers reading this post. As for me, today I’m feeling good, motivated, and ready to give my all. Also, I’ll be starting university soon, but that’s another topic for maybe another time.

Recently, I realized something I often do when I really like an anime—I feel an overwhelming urge to rewatch it. I can’t help it; I just end up doing it. It’s an unavoidable need. This has happened to me quite a few times, and whenever I remember an anime I loved, this feeling floods over me, telling me to watch it again. I think I might be a little obsessive with my tastes—maybe even a bit too obsessive, you could say.

So it made me wonder: Do you, dear readers, experience something similar? What are your habits or quirks when you absolutely love an anime or series? I’d love to know! Feel free to share your favorite anime in the comments. Next, I’ll tell you about my biggest obsessions and the anime I’ve loved and recently rewatched. You can take the ones I’m about to mention as recommendations—and as a part of who I am, because at this point, they’re practically part of my personality. That much is obvious.

So without further ado, let’s talk about the anime I love the most and could watch over and over again.

I believe the first anime that made me feel this way was undoubtedly Violet Evergarden, my absolute favorite #1 anime. I think I'm a huge fan of anime that prioritizes drama and good storytelling. This anime delivers perfectly on both fronts, with countless touching scenes that will make you cry. The series itself consists of 12 episodes, 2 movies, and a special - and as you might guess, I've watched it twice.

The first time I watched it alone, and since I couldn't contain myself, I watched it again the following week with my sister. I remember when the final movie was released, I watched that with her too. But that's not all - I watched it a third time, this time with both my sister and my mom. I was even about to watch it a fourth time with my girlfriend, but I aborted the mission; I think it was too heavy for her and she wasn't enjoying it much.

What can I say? I cried just like the first time during all three viewings. So incredibly good! Another drama anime I ended up watching twice was AnoHana, but the second viewing disappointed me a bit. I didn't cry like I did the first time, and I didn't feel like watching it again. Plus, the movie that was supposed to serve as some kind of resolution was rather disappointing - I didn't like it at all.

That said, I'm not saying it's bad. AnoHana is ideal for those wanting to get into drama anime. It will definitely move you the first time you watch it, and it remains among my favorites because it was one of my first experiences with the genre.

Another anime I might rewatch because I want to review it again is Summer Time Render. I've had this feeling that I need to watch it again for a while now, so I must complete my mission. It's one of the best time-travel anime you'll come across – a guaranteed recommendation and my number 2 favourite, easily competing with the top spot. I don't want to spoil too much of the story, so I'll let you look it up yourself: mysteries and battles await you along the way.

An anime about time travel that I have watched multiple times is none other than Steins;Gate. Who doesn't know this anime? Considered by many as one of the greatest anime of all time, though I'll be honest – I still need to watch the film and the second season which follows an alternate timeline. I'll get round to them soon to see if they live up to expectations.

The other anime I've rewatched recently, I must admit. I even reviewed one of them just this week. You see, my sister is my faithful companion – if I watch something and like it, I tell her to watch it with me. The first is The Apothecary Diaries and the other is Wistoria. I confess that right before making this post, I was watching Wistoria while finishing my rewatch of Maomao. They're both brilliant anime, completely recommended – one's a mystery and the other's action with magic. The Apothecary Diaries already has its second season which I've yet to watch, and Wistoria has its second season coming soon.

And that would be everything. I might have more, but these are the most relevant ones. Now it's your turn to share your experiences.

I believe I have watch some anime episode like Naruto but back then I never liked anime but the first anime I watched that made me love anime and I had to watch again was “Akame ga Kill”

I so much love the anime and I have watched it like 3 times

While you see Attack on titans, Only God know how many time I have watch it because I always play it for any of my cousins that come visiting, and personally I have watched it over 7 times from the beginning to the ending.

I think I should take another look at Akame Ga Kill. I watched it ages ago and can barely remember anything, just that you couldn't get attached to anyone because there was nothing but death.

You should
It would make you cry 😭 again

Your post felt like a chat with a close friend. I loved every part of it. I perfectly urge to resume a favorite anime. For me, this is YOUR NAME and ERASED. I am going back to the feelings with them. And Violet Evergarden? Oh wow, that anime broke me. I also cried like a child. It is surprising how to be some stories as to who we are. Thanks for sharing such personal favorite, it was a pleasure to read!

Thanks for stopping by to read! I really liked Erased in particular, even though the ending is a bit weird—it's still pretty good. From what I understand, the manga wasn't finished yet, so they had to make up that last part. Though I haven’t actually read the manga myself to see the differences. What I did see was a live-action adaptation, and the same thing happened—the ending is even worse, hahaha.

It's funny how some anime stays with you, isn't it? Like ‘Steins;Gate’, which makes you reflect on time and decisions.

In my almost, Bleach was quite memorable, Naruto stuck with me throughout my childhood as did Dragon Ball, even today I watch a lot of anime, even some new ones like Demon Slayer. There are also others that were very memorable and made me shed a few tears like Digimon and Pokémon, even Metabots.

That thing about time and decisions… I first experienced it with The Butterfly Effect movie. After that, my obsession with time-travel movies, series, and anime began. Steins;Gate was an amazing surprise—one of the best the genre has to offer.

Clannad was the first anime i have watched. The story line was simply beautiful so I rewatch it sometimes.

This when I discovered the term anime. Unofficially I watched Pokemon, Dragonball and Naruto before clannad but didn't know they were anime at that time haha.

Recently I found a gem called Farming life in another world. I always rewatch some of the episodes when I'm eating. The anime is about building a new life in a new world. It's not serious at all but it's very fun to watch especially the cooking and farming scenes. It'll make your more hungry and appreciate the food we eat.

That last anime you mentioned looks really nice—I think I'll save it for later. It seems like a good one to relax with.

As for Clannad, I've thought about giving it a chance sometimes, but from what I understand, it's pretty long, which kinda kills my motivation a bit.

Yeah Clannad might be slow but it does have a beautiful story. I usually watch it when I'm eating. One episode per day was fine i guess.

Try "The pet girl of sakura sou" then.

Recently I have been watching several anime that I saw some time ago to remember the nostalgia, there are very few anime of the present that have caught my attention, among the anime that I saw again was Mob Psyco 100, D-Frag was another one, also Baka to Test, I did not remember that this last anime gave me so much laughter 🤣 hahaha... and regarding Violet Evergarden I liked it a lot and the only thing I didn't see was the first OVA, I saw the movie and I was more interested in what happened with Violet and her commander or captain, I don't remember his rank very well honestly hehehehe.... I don't want to say it's bad either, it's the opposite, but I still wanted to know what else happened between the two of them and they didn't do it, it left me with a little emptiness of thought in that part. 😕

You only watched one movie? You missed another one where Violet attends an all-girls boarding school because someone requests her services. As for what happens between her and the Lieutenant, in the movie where they reunite, it’s made pretty clear—technically, they tell you in the parallel story set in the future where a girl investigates Violet’s past. Plus, there’s a post-credits scene where Violet and the Lieutenant are together.

Yes because I didn't know, ova 1 I couldn't see it because I didn't know it existed, but now you make it very clear and I thank you, I skipped the movie by mistake and bad information, when I saw the movie I won't lie to you if I liked it but as I told you before I was more eager to see more, believing that Violet and the Lieutenant would not be mentioned, but now I will see that OVA, thanks for the tip. I only watched the season and jumped into the movie without touching the Ova jejeje

Buen post.
