Okay, I’ll be honest, Just Because! isn’t going to win any awards for excitement. If you want to watch a romance anime with fireworks, love triangles, or romantic and charming dialogues, then this isn't for you. The pacing is really slow, and half the time, the characters feel like they’re communicating in cryptic glances rather than actual words. But here’s the thing, why did I keep watching? And why did I lowkey love it anyway?

¿Para quién es este anime? Definitivamente no para el público de «necesito giros argumentales en cada episodio». Si eres de los que se saltan los diálogos para llegar a la acción, corre. Pero si alguna vez has vuelto a ver una escena de Hyouka sólo para saborear el ambiente, o si disfrutas irónicamente observando a la gente en las cafeterías, ésta puede ser tu serie. Es para cualquiera que se haya quedado alguna vez con un recuerdo, de esos en los que «no ha pasado nada», pero que aún así importan.

¿Es aburrido? Oh, al 100%. Hay una escena en la que dos personajes se quedan literalmente mirando sus teléfonos durante un minuto entero. Pero aquí está el giro: no lo odié.
