Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, o día de hoy les comparto esta ilustración que realicé para el concurso semanal de #splinterlands, optando por inspirarme esta semana en una ninfa de bosques, que son criaturas mitológicas que están enlazadas a un árboles y protegen laborales en los que habitan, otras informaciones las ponen como que ellas mismas se pueden transformar en un árbol y luego tomar sudores humanoide. También hay ninfas de lagos, pero estas suelen ser más retadoras, ya que fuentes dicen que son más sexuales y manipulaban también a los hombres, y de ellas deriva la palabra "ninfomana".
Greetings friends of hive and alienart, today I share with you this illustration that I made for the weekly contest of splinterlands, choosing to be inspired this week in a forest nymph, which are mythological creatures that are linked to a tree and protect labor in which they live, other information put them as they themselves can transform into a tree and then take humanoid sweats. There are also lake nymphs, but these tend to be more challenging, as sources say they are more sexual and manipulated men as well, and from them derives the word "nymphomaniac".
Meredith es una ninfa de bosques que vive maravillada con sus dones mágicos que le permiten hacer crecer nuevos árboles y flores, habitando en un pequeño bosque que poco a poco ha ayudado a prosperar. Este bosque había sido quemado por los aldeanos quienes habían cortado también la mayoría de los árboles para crear su aldea, varias ninfas se enfrentaron a ellos pero muchas perdieron la vida. Tiempo después de tanto conflicto los humanos de retiraron, pero el daño ya estaba hecho, el árbol al que está enlazado Meredith apenas crecía y logró sobrevivir a la catástrofe, así que con el tiempo Meredith empezó a recuperar el bosque que una vez estaba habitado por muchas ninfas.
Meredith is a wood nymph who lives in wonder with her magical gifts that allow her to grow new trees and flowers, inhabiting a small forest that she has gradually helped to thrive. This forest had been burned by villagers who had also cut down most of the trees to create their village, several nymphs confronted them but many lost their lives. Some time after so much conflict the humans withdrew, but the damage was already done, the tree Meredith is linked to was barely growing and managed to survive the catastrophe, so over time Meredith began to recover the forest that was once inhabited by many nymphs.

Realice la base del dibujo con el lápiz digital, y el color azul, después realice las facciones, cabello y ropa del personaje con los colores rosado y morado.
Make the base of the drawing with the digital pencil, and the color blue, then make the character's features, hair and clothes with the colors pink and purple.
Realice el trabajo de línea con la tinta dura y el color negro, después elimine las capas de base y realice la base de color utilizando el rellenador.
Make the line work with the hard ink and the black color, then remove the base layers and make the color base using the filler.
Detalle la piel con acuarela, usando tonos más oscuros y degradando, después detalle el cabello usando otros tonos y líneas para dar volumen.
Detail the skin with watercolor, using darker tones and degrading, then detail the hair using other tones and lines to give volume.
Detalle las hojas y ramas de su cabeza usando varios tonos de colores, después detalle los ojos y la boca y empecé a resaltar brillos en varias zonas del dibujo.

Me encantó el acabado de este personaje y como se ven los tonos de acuarela y la forma en cómo sus ojos azules resaltan. También le realice un maquillaje sutil usando verde, amarillo, anaranjado y rojo. Me gustó mucho esta ilustración y la corona de hojas y flores, aunque fue un poco enredado al momento de realizarla, pero sin duda valió la pena. I loved the finish on this character and how the watercolor tones show and the way her blue eyes pop. I also did a subtle makeup using green, yellow, orange and red. I really liked this illustration and the wreath of leaves and flowers, although it was a bit messy at the time of making it, but it was definitely worth it.
