For this piece I took as a reference a card that I had never drawn before and I liked it a lot, maybe I will make more mermaids for the future.
in this process i started with a basic outline as always which i coloured in a solid way and taking as reference the original colours of the piece itself. after that i started to blur, with the background i took as reference an image that i liked a lot and i modified it until i got a suitable marine background.
