Buenas noches chicos. Hoy tenia muchas ganas de practicar un poco con una paleta de color bastante llamativa, neón con muchos tonos fríos, aunque este estilo no es mi especialidad, me gusta mucho porque tengo la oportunidad de variar y explorar nuevas maneras de colorear la piel, sinceramente me encanto este retrato siento que tiene ese toque de fantasía y a la vez nostalgia, no fue nada fácil porque siempre me cuesta un poco entender como trabajar correctamente con estos colores que no son naturales de la piel, pero con paciencia pude realizarlo. Espero que les guste.

Today I really wanted to practice a little with a color palette quite striking, neon with many cold tones, although this style is not my specialty, I really like it because I have the opportunity to vary and explore new ways to color the skin, honestly I love this portrait I feel it has that touch of fantasy and at the same time nostalgia, it was not easy because it always costs me a little to understand how to work correctly with these colors that are not natural skin, but with patience I could do it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto, esta vez quería un retrato sencillo, elegí los colores para trabajar esta vez era una gama de tonos morados, azules y cian, empecé a colocar todos los colores según la luz y sombra que quería, después añadí una nueva capa donde coloque mas tonos para asi darle forma por completo al rostro, cambie el fondo a un azul oscuro, luego comencé a mezclar todos los colores del rostro para dejar una piel con textura suave, detalle muy bien los ojos ya que quería que resaltaran muchísimo.

I made the sketch, this time I wanted a simple portrait, I chose the colors to work this time it was a range of purple, blue and cyan tones, I started to place all the colors according to the light and shadow I wanted, then I added a new layer where I placed more tones to give shape to the face, I changed the background to a dark blue, then I started to mix all the colors of the face to leave a skin with soft texture, detail the eyes very well because I wanted them to stand out a lot.

Después agregue otro color a escena, elegí un color rosa fuerte y empecé a pintar las “lagrimas” luego empecé a pintar el cabello con azul oscuro y luego empecé a añadir luces y sombras para darle mejor forma al cabello, también quise agregar algunos reflejos con morado, lila y varios tonos de azules claros, dibuje un collar con un una media luna y luego empecé a darle un poco de brillo al fondo, en una nueva capa añadí los efectos de luz en el rostro para darle un poquito mas de magia a todo, también quise añadir algunos puntos de luz encima de las lagrimas para simular una especie de glitter. Finalmente edite la imagen ajustando un poco la intensidad y el color.

Then I added another color to the scene, I chose a hard pink color and started to paint the "tears" then I started to paint the hair with dark blue and then I started to add lights and shadows to give a better shape to the hair, I also wanted to add some highlights with purple, lilac and various shades of light blues, I drew a necklace with a crescent moon and then I started to give a little bit of shine to the background, in a new layer I added the light effects on the face to give a little bit more magic to everything, I also wanted to add some points of light above the tears to simulate a kind of glitter.
Finally I edited the image adjusting a little bit the intensity and the color.

Loved the color palette and the neon, they are my favorite colors, I love all the effects you achieve, they are great.
