Mirror eyes

Hoy dibuje, aunque no tenia demasiadas ganas me sorprendió lo rápido que termine este dibujo y lo mucho que me gusto a pesar de ser bastante simple, quise pintar hoy con el pincel difuso como solía hacerlo antes ya que deja un acabado bastante suavizado y bonito, sobre todo en los bordes de la piel. Y realmente este dibujo al principio seria menos oscuro pero mientras pintaba cambie las cosas, decidí hacer unos ojos blancos que tanto me gustan y usar colores desaturados y oscuros, espero que les guste.

Today I drew, and although I wasn't really in the mood, I was surprised by how quickly I finished this drawing and how much I liked it, despite its simplicity. I wanted to paint with the soft brush today, like I used to, because it leaves a nice, smooth finish, especially around the edges of the skin. This drawing was originally going to be less dark, but while I was painting, I changed things. I decided to draw white eyes, which I love, and use desaturated, dark colors. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto y como notaran al principio pinte ojos normales, sin embargo cuando empecé a agregar los colores a la piel y demás me gusto usar una base gris para los ojos e ir dándole forma hasta que lucieran como ojos blancos, para la piel use tonos marrones en su mayoría un marrón medio, en las zonas iluminadas use colores crema y beige, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle mejor forma a todo el torso y luego comencé a mezclarlos dejando una piel suave a la vista. Para el cabello utilice marrón muy oscuro.

I started my sketch, and as you'll notice, I initially painted normal eyes. However, when I began adding colors to the skin and other areas, I liked using a gray base for the eyes and shaping them until they looked like white eyes. For the skin, I mostly used medium brown tones. In the highlighted areas, I used cream and beige colors. On a new layer, I added more colors to better define the entire torso and then began blending them, resulting in a smooth, visibly soft skin. For the hair, I used very dark brown.

Cambie el fondo a blanco, después de probar varios colores el blanco fue el que mas me gustó. Y después de esto empecé a agregar iluminaciones al cabello sobre todo en el lado izquierdo. Para darle una mayor profundidad a la mirada pinte alrededor con marrón oscuro y tambien realice venas en la zona de las ojeras, oscurecí un poco mas la piel para que el fondo blanco resaltara aún más y finalmente ilumine los ojos, nariz y labios.

I changed the background to white; after trying several colors, white was the one I liked best. Then I started adding highlights to the hair, especially on the left side. To give the eyes more depth, I painted around them with dark brown and also added veins in the under-eye area. I darkened the skin a bit more so the white background would stand out even more, and finally, I highlighted the eyes, nose, and lips.
