Red scar — Hive

Ayer hice un dibujo con el cual no me sentía satisfecha y por eso hoy sentía la necesidad de volver a dibujar y redimirme un poco de ese dibujo que no me gusto jaja, esta vez con un retrato que por alguna razón cuando estaba pintándolo me recordó un poco al estilo del Joker y por eso decidí hacerle el cabello verde. Este dibujo si me gusto demasiado y siento que acerté en lo que quería al 100% me tomo bastante tiempo terminarlo, pero no me arrepiento de nada. Espero que les guste.

Yesterday I made a drawing that I wasn't satisfied with, and that's why today I felt the need to draw again and redeem myself a little from that drawing that I didn't like haha, this time with a portrait that for some reason when I was painting it reminded me a bit of the Joker's style, and that's why I decided to make his hair green. I really liked this drawing, and I feel like I got what I wanted 100%. It took a long time to finish, but I don't regret anything. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y al principio pinte la piel con colores bastante pálidos, quería una piel estilo vampiresa pero finalmente luego de agregar todas las luces y sombras probe colocar un fondo morado neón (Al principio pensaba usar un fondo totalmente oscuro, probablemente usaría negro) quería probar como se veía un color tan llamativo de fondo ya que no suelo colocar este tipo de colores y eso me dio la idea de agregar tambien una capa del mismo color encima de la piel para luego dejar algo de luz solo en la zona de los ojos. Me gusto bastante este efecto asi que continue de esta manera, obviamente arregle la textura de la piel mezclando muy bien los colores y dejando un resultado suave. Intente que los ojos fuesen muy oscuros alrededor como si tuviesen ojeras y quise dibujar un ojo blanco que es donde pasaría la cicatriz y el otro ojo morado.

I made the sketch and at first I painted the skin with quite pale colors, I wanted a vampire style skin but finally after adding all the lights and shadows I tried placing a neon purple background (At first I thought of using a totally dark background, I would probably use black) I wanted to test how such a striking color looked in the background since I don't usually use this type of colors and that gave me the idea to also add a layer of the same color on top of the skin and then leave some light only in the eye area. I really liked this effect so I continued in this way, obviously I fixed the texture of the skin by mixing the colors very well and leaving a soft result. I tried to make the eyes very dark around as if she had dark circles and I wanted to draw a white eye where the scar would pass and in the other eye i applied purple.

Luego empecé a dibujar la herida en su ojo usando diferentes tonalidades de rojos y jugando con los efectos de las capas para darle profundidad. Para el cabello usé un color verde oscuro de base y agregue iluminaciones con un verde un poco mas claro, como siempre, enrojecí un poco mas la nariz y alrededor de los ojos y tambien pinte un choker en su cuello. La ropa no llevaría demasiados detalles ya que es poco visible asi que simplemente la pinte de un morado muy oscuro. Finalice agregando algunos puntos de luz en nariz, ojos y labios y tambien haciendo un leve ajuste de color.

Then I started drawing the wound on her eye using different shades of red and playing with layer effects to give it depth. For the hair, I used a dark green base color and added highlights with a slightly lighter green, as usual. I made the nose and around the eyes a little more red, and I also painted a choker around her neck. The clothing wouldn't have too many details since it's barely visible, so I simply painted it a very dark purple. I finished by adding some highlights on the nose, eyes, and lips, and also making a slight color adjustment.
