Buenas noches a todos. Hoy para mi entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands quise realizar un retrato, los retratos para este tipo de dibujos me parecen bastante difíciles ya que la mayoría de características que representan un personaje casi siempre se ve reflejado en dibujos de cuerpo entero, la ropa, accesorios, etc., en un retrato hay que buscar aquellos rasgos que tengan mayor similitud y que representé muy bien nuestro personaje, esta vez retraté a Uloth Dhampir, esta vez quería una versión un poco menos ruda, que luciese bastante angelical pero sin perder detalles del rostro, piel y algún accesorio, el resultado final me gusto mucho ya que tiene una mirada dulce y amable, muy al contrario de la imagen original y eso es lo divertido de los fan art, podemos imaginar estos personajes de muchas maneras diferentes, espero que les guste.

Today for my entry to the @Splinterlands contest I wanted to make a portrait, portraits for this type of drawings seem to me quite difficult since most of the features that represent a character is almost always reflected in full body drawings, clothes, accessories, etc., in a portrait you have to look for those features that have greater similarity and that represented our character very well, this time I portrayed Uloth Dhampir, this time I wanted a version a little less rough, that looked quite angelic but without losing details of the face, skin and some accessory, the end result I liked a lot as it has a sweet and kind look, very contrary to the original image and that's the fun of fan art, we can imagine these characters in many different ways, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y comencé a pintar la piel, elegí una gama de tonos verdes y aplique luces y sombras, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para terminar de formar por completo el rostro y torso para luego comenzar a mezclar estos colores y difuminarlos bien hasta tener una piel realista, suave, pero con un poco de textura. Para el cabello use un color marrón oscuro de base y uno más claro para darle forma y sentido, pinte las marcas rojas del rostro, intentando mezclarlas bien con la piel y asi evitar que luciese como un parche.

I made the sketch and began to paint the skin, I chose a range of green tones and applied lights and shadows, in a new layer I added more colors to finish forming completely the face and torso and then begin to mix these colors and blend them well until I had a realistic skin, soft, but with a little texture. For the hair I used a dark brown base color and a lighter one to give it shape and sense, I painted the red marks on the face, trying to blend them well with the skin and avoid it to look like a patch.

Pinte la ropa y el collar de colmillos, luego detalle un poco mas el rostro y también añadí esas marcas marrones que tiene en el rostro, de hecho, no las había notado hasta que revise muy bien la imagen original para no perder detalles como este, para el fondo elegí un color crema desaturado, luego agregue iluminaciones al rostro en las zonas que quería resaltar como la nariz y ojos, como siempre, antes de terminar empecé a jugar con los ajustes de color del dibujo, dándole asi una tonalidad un poquito mas calida.

I painted the clothes and the fang necklace, then I detailed a little more the face and I also added those brown marks that she has on her face, in fact, I hadn't noticed them until I checked the original image very well to not lose details like this, for the background I chose a desaturated cream color, then I added highlights to the face in the areas I wanted to highlight like the nose and eyes, as always, before finishing I started to play with the color adjustments of the drawing, giving it a little warmer tone.
