Hi people of the community, today I come to participate in this week and share another illustration of @Splinterlands, this time I have chosen the character Muspelheim Demon, this illustration was made with Photoshop CS6 software, using the graphic tablet Huion Model HS610, thanks for seeing my post and I hope you enjoy it.

Sketch
In this sketch I visualized the demon emerging from the darkness of the forest, a figure with a strange appearance, whose arms and legs are thin, ending in razor-sharp claws. Its muscles tense with superhuman strength, ready to unleash its fury, with a peculiar and sinister appearance, the demon with a single pupil in its head, pierces the darkness like an infernal beacon, a second sinister eye of dark magic in its abdomen, devours the night with a single blink, Never look into its second eye or you might be hypnotized! A mane of jet black hair, like the darkest night, waves in the wind as if it has a life of its own. He is perched in the branches of a tree, laughing mockingly with sharp fangs, as he watches the forest burn around him, due to a spell he has cast.
Process
In the beginning I created different layers with the base colors, dividing each part of the body, in this case there were only 3 layers; body, eyes and hair, for the background I created several layers of trunks and branches.
Applying different shades of dark red, to give depth to the extremities of the body, also painting the 2 fearsome eyes of the demon and retouching the details of the mouth as; fangs, tongue and uvula.
As you have already understood, the scenario of this wild demon is a forest burning in flames because of his own spells, you can also appreciate the texture of the trunks and branches. The background is dark blue, going through shades such as purple, red and orange, and for this part I increased the contrast of the colors, to enhance the illustration and give it more life.
In general, the image is a powerful and terrifying representation of an unbridled demon. Its body is deep red, resting on the branches of an old tree being devoured by flames along with the other trees where the fire consumes them. The air crackles with the dark energy of the demon's spell. A vile and corrupting magic that feeds the flames and expands them. On the demon's face a cruel and mocking smile is drawn, his eyes are the window to an abyss of evil and power, shining with a disturbing light, as he enjoys the chaos he has created and the destruction he has caused, you can feel the dark and sinister magic in the atmosphere feeding the fire and spreading it throughout the forest, creating an atmosphere of pure terror and destruction.
