ANDRÉ THE EVIL SCIENTIST | character design challenge

Hi bloggers, I hope you're doing well... it's been a few weeks since you last saw me here XD, the only reason is that my university consumes a lot of my time, and the truth is that I don't have much free time since I study graphic design and almost every day I have projects from one day to the other. However I think I need creatively a space to do personal things. This character creation has been one of those few free times that I have given myself to do something personal, I'll tell you how it was done and for what occasion I created it.

Hola blogueros, espero estén muy bien...han pasado unas semanas ya desde que me vieron por acá por ultima vez XD, la única razón es que mi universidad me consume mucho tiempo, y la verdad no tengo mucho tiempo libre puesto que estudio diseño gráfico y casi a diario tengo proyectos de un día para otro. Sin embargo creo que necesito creativamente de un espacio para hacer cosas personales. Esta creación de personaje ha sido uno de esos pocos tiempos libres que me he dado para hacer algo personal te cuento como fue hacerlo y para que ocasión lo cree.

This character took a few days to be ready from the idea and moodboard stage, giving him a personality, his physical appearance was very difficult since I was building one feature one day and the next days the others, but little by little I was doing it. He is André, a boy who likes to become the evil doctor trick track when he plays mad scientist.
Este personaje tardo unos cuantos días en estar listo desde la etapa de la idea y moodboard, darle una personalidad, su apariencia física fue muy difícil puesto que una característica la construía un día y los siguientes días las demás, pero poco a poco lo fui haciendo. el es André, un niño que le gusta convertirse en el malvado doctor trick track cuando juega al científico loco.

Este personaje tardó unos días en estar listo desde la fase de idea y moodboard, darle una personalidad, su aspecto físico fue muy difícil ya que un día construía una característica y al día siguiente las otras, pero poco a poco lo fui haciendo. Él es André, un chico al que le gusta convertirse en el malvado doctor truco de la pista cuando juega a científico loco.

He takes his candy and imagines that he makes them bigger through experiments with radioactive chemicals. I created this little character for the Character design challenge, a monthly challenge of a facebook page where every month they publish a theme and all the artists of the community have to create a character from the bases of the challenge, the main purpose is to have fun but there are also physical and digital prizes (as promotion).

El toma sus dulces e imagina que los hace mas grandes a través de experimentos con químicos radioactivos. Este pequeño personaje lo cree para el Character design challenge, un reto mensual de una pagina de facebook donde mensualmente publican una temática y todos los artistas de la comunidad tenemos que crear un personaje a partir de las bases del reto, la finalidad principal es divertirse pero también hay premios físicos y digitales(como promoción).

This was my little entry, in fact it is the first one but I liked it so much that I decided to share it here too. In this work I experimented with a more complementary color palette, trying not to marry too much with the chromatic circle, but always keeping in mind that everything must have a chromatic harmony to be more pleasing to the eye of the beholder. The theme is simple but very interesting because it is just about the recursive we are when we are children that our imagination flies higher and a simple candy can be synonymous with fun and make us imagine a game behind it.

Esta fue mi pequeña entrada, de hecho es la primera pero me gustó tanto que decidí compartirla por acá también. En este trabajo experimenté con una paleta de color mas complementaria, intentando no casarme mucho con el circulo cromático, pero eso si, siempre teniendo en cuenta que todo debe tener una armonía cromática para ser mas agradable a la vista del espectador. la temática es simple pero muy interesante porque trata justamente de los recursivos que somos cuando somos niños que nuestra imaginación vuela mas alto y un dulce simple puede ser sinónimo de diversión y hacernos imaginar un juego detrás de ello.

I have been a little behind in my personal practices in the last two months but I firmly believe that it is worth it because I know that it is not because I am wasting that time, but I am only dedicating it to learn other things that will also serve me in my professional life, and of course also serves me to improve my illustrations, I hope you liked this little project, and I will try to be here with you as soon as possible. I'm sure that if I try harder I'll make it, until next time.

Me he visto un poco atrasado en mis practicas personales en los últimos dos meses pero creo firmemente que vale toda la pena del mundo porque sé que no es porque este desperdiciando ese tiempo, si no que solo lo estoy dedicando a aprender otras cosas que también me van a servir machismo en mi vida profesional, y que por supuesto también me sirve para mejorar en mis ilustraciones, espero les haya gustado este pequeño proyecto, y trataré de estar por acá con ustedes lo mas pronto posible. Estoy seguro que si lo intento mas lo lograré, hasta una próxima vez.
