Hello to all bloggers, Today I come to show you a very special illustration because it has arisen in my special and very sad moment, 2 days ago I received the news that my grandmother left us to go to rest to a better place, since I can not be near her to say goodbye for being out of the country, I wanted to make a drawing in her memory and so I can let her go from my heart, and I do not know if these things exist but I like to think that she saw me thinking about her and dedicating this simple illustration, I tell you how was doing it and the step by step.

Hola a todos bloguers, Hoy vengo a mostrarles una ilustración muy especial pues me ha surgido en mi momento especial y muy triste, hace 2 días recibí la noticia que mi abuela nos dejo para irse a descansar a un lugar mejor, ya que no puedo estar cerca de ella para despedirme por estar fuera del país, he querido hacer un dibujo en su memoria y así poder dejarla ir de mi corazon, y no se si esas cosas existan pero me gusta pensar que ella me vio pensándola y dedicándole esta simple ilustración, te cuento como fue hacerla y el paso a paso.

I did not want to make a drawing representing her directly but rather the feeling that she transmitted to me when I was by her side, she really liked that I read her the children's stories of my illustrations because she said that reading was one of the things that made her feel in another place, however when I was with her and I read to her I felt in a cold rainy night where the windows fog up and coffee can not miss, I know it sounds cliché but being with her I felt those feelings.

No quise hacer un dibujo representándola a ella directamente si no mas bien el sentimiento que ella me transmitía cuando estaba a su lado, a ella le gustaba mucho que yo le leyera las historias infantiles de mis ilustraciones porque decía de la lectura era una de las cosas que mas le hacían sentirse en otro lugar, en cambio cuando yo estaba con ella y le leía me sentía en una noche fría de lluvia de esas donde los vidrios se empañan y el café no puede faltar, lo se suena cliché pero al estar con ella esos sentía.

So in this sketch I wanted to represent a girl with a melancholic look while reading a book in the dark rain, I thought it was a nice drawing to express even the colors she made me feel. Another thing I added was some plants because I will always have in my mind that her huge garden had small medicinal plants because she believed more in natural medicine Xd.

Así que en este boceto quise representar una chica con una mirada melancólica mientras lee un libro entre la lluvia oscura, me pareció un bonito dibujo para expresar incluso hasta los colores que ella me hacia sentir. Otra cosa que agregue fue algunas plantas ya que siempre tendré en mi mente que su jardín inmenso tenia pequeñas plantas medicinales porque ella creía mas en la medicina natural Xd.

For the choice of color I used a mixture of cold and warm colors to give a balance to the composition and above all to highlight the character, although the truth is that I was only painting the colors that came to my mind at the moment, unlike other times when I think about the palette before painting.

Para la elección de color utilice una mezcla de colores fríos y cálidos para dar un equilibrio en al composición y sobre todo para hacer resaltar al personaje, aunque la verdad solo estaba pintando los colores que se me ocurrían en el momento a diferencia de las demás veces donde pienso bien la paleta antes de pintar.

With this illustration I want to say goodbye to one more person that I lose hoping that it will be the last and that the others will never stop being by my side despite the distance in which I find myself, this illustration and this event make me think and ensure what I think, always enjoy the small moments with the people that most however small and insignificant they may seem, believe that it will make a lot of difference.

Con esta ilustración quiero decir adiós a una persona mas que pierdo esperando que sea la ultima y que las demás nunca dejen de estar a mi lado a pesar de la distancia en la que me encuentro, esta ilustración y este suceso me hacen pensar y asegurar lo que pienso, siempre disfrutar de los pequeños momentos con las personas que mas por mas pequeños e insignificantes que parezcan, cree que marcará mucho la diferencia.
