Hello bloggers, how are you, I am very happy. A new day, a new week drawing for the splinterlands art contest; This time I'm really happy, because this week I went back to my childish and fantastic art style. And that makes me feel really good, I feel that I am where I should be.

This time I finally drew a card that since I saw it I always wanted to make it into a fanart ; and that moment came. Today I show you BYZANTINE KITTY and how I gave her a little more magical appearance than she already is. I tell you how was the process and as always the step by step.

Hola Blogueros ¿Qué tal?, Estoy muy feliz. Un nuevo día, una nueva semana dibujando para el concurso de arte de splinterlands; Esta vez estoy realmente contento, pues esta semana volví a mi estilo de arte infantil y fantástico. Y eso me hace sentir muy bien siento que estoy donde debo estar.

Esta vez al fin dibuje una carta que desde que la vi siempre quise hacerla en un fanart ; y llegó ese momento. Hoy les muestro a BYZANTINE KITTY y como le di una apariencia un poco mas mágica de lo que ya lo es. Te cuento como fue el proceso y como siempre el paso a paso.

For the sketch phase; the idea was to make this kitty like a wizard sorceress. A kind of cat with magical powers, and her adorable companions could not be missing. I integrated them with the soul of naughty children because the cat didn't want them to be in the picture and they hid behind the tunic. Emerging from their hands a sphere of green power, I feel it gave the missing touch to the idea.

Para la fase del boceto; la idea fue hacer a esta gatica como una maga hechicera. Una especie de gata con poderes mágicos, y no podían faltar sus adorables compañeros. Los integre con alma de niños traviesos pues la gata no quería que salieran en la foto y ellos se escondieron detrás de la túnica. Emergiendo de sus manos una esfera de poder verde, siento que le dio el toque que le faltaba a la idea.

For the color choice; his fur had to be white and my i pad, you know what it cost me to make that coat white. The main problem is that I am trying to leave out the lineart in some of my ideas and everything becomes different to do. On his tunic I put a king blue; that color is perfect whenever you want to express royalty, elegance and power. And a detail that I have also added is these gold borders, which I love to do in this kind of illustrations when I want to express magic and power.

Para la elección de color; su pelaje debía ser blanco y mi i pad, sabe lo que me costo hacer ese pelaje blanco. El problema principal es que estoy intentando dejar de lado el lineart en algunas de mis ideas y todo se vuelve distinto de hacer. En su túnica coloque un azul rey; ese color es perfecto siempre que se quiera expresar realeza, elegancia y poder. Y un detalle que también he agregado es estos bordes de oro, que me encanta hacerlos en este tipo de ilustraciones cuando quiero que exprese magia y poder.

As I already said kitty's faithful companions, I integrated them hidden because in front of her they looked very out of focus. Maybe I would have liked them in other colors to make them stand out more, but I was very happy with the result of the idea. It makes me think that the cat even though she hates that they are naughty. At the end of the day they are her most faithful battle buddies and the three of them live in harmony.

Como ya lo dije los fieles compañeros de kitty, los integre escondidos pues enfrente de ella se veían muy fuera de foco. Quizá me hubiese gustado que fueran de otros colores para que sobresalieran mas, pero quede muy contento con el resultado de la idea. Me da a pensar que la gata a pesar de que odie que sean traviesos. Al final de día son sus mas files compañeros de la batalla y los tres viven en armonía.

Lastly I toned down the wings a bit because I felt that the illustration already had a lot of white and I didn't want it to look like a soup. XD. So I lowered the light and focused more on kitty's body. For the background I put a reflection of kitty in opacity and a halo of mustard smoke and yellow to make the edges of the cat and her companions stand out a little more. What do you think?let me know your opinion.

Por ultimo atenué un poco las alas porque sentí que la ilustración ya tenia mucha cantidades de blanco y no quería que se viera como una sopa. XD. Así que le baje luz y enfoque mas el cuerpo de kitty. Para el fondo coloque un reflejo de kitty en opacidad y halo de humo mostaza y amarillo para hacer resaltar un poco mas los bordes de la gata y sus compañeros. ¿ Que te ha parecido?dejame saber tu opinión.
