Hello bloggers I hope you are well and have an excellent start of the week, today I am really happy to come to show you a project in which I worked about 3 days, not because it was impossible to do but because I gave myself the task of changing ideas to the sketch and think that color choice could have, I am also very happy because I started to see my first drawings in this style that I have been building for almost a year and it gives me satisfaction to see how I have advanced in small but accurate steps, today I show you this illustration inspired by magic and fantastic creatures, I tell you what it is about and the step by step as always.

Hola blogueros espero estén bien y tengan un excelente inicio de semana, el día de hoy estoy realmente feliz de venir a mostrarles un proyecto en el que trabaje unos 3 días, no porque fuese imposible de hacer si no porque me di la tarea de ir cambiando ideas al boceto y pensar que elección de color podría tener, estoy muy feliz también porque me puse a ver mis primeros dibujos en este estilo que vengo construyendo ya casi un año y me da satisfacción ver como he avanzado en pasos pequeños pero certeros, hoy te muestro esta ilustración inspirada en magia y en creaturas fantásticas, te cuento de que se tarta y el paso paso como siempre.

In this idea I based mainly on oval and spherical shapes, the shapes of the creatures are not any specific fruit, I just imagined it that way and that's how I captured it in the sketch, some creatures that I don't know if they are really fruits XD with tentacles in the shape of leaves that could be useful for them to swim. I also wanted to illustrate a human character to show more that magical world and ours, representing it with a girl who wore a mushroom hat to not scare them away and thus be able to see them more closely. all this in a forest in the light of day. with a very bright sun.

En esta idea me base principalmente en formas ovaladas y esféricas, las formas de las criaturas no son ningún fruto en especifico solo así lo imagine y así lo plasme en el boceto unas criaturas que no se si de verdad sean frutas XD con tentáculos en formas de hojas que bien les podrían servir para nadar. también quise ilustrar un personaje humano para mostrar mas ese mundo mágico y el nuestro, representándolo con una chica que se puso un sombrero de hongo para no ahuyentarlos y así poder verles mas de cerca. todo esto dentro de un bosque en la luz del día. con un sol muy brillante.

This illustration was the perfect opportunity to join the style I was practicing last week and I liked it but it was not what I really wanted to do, so what I did was to incorporate the details of the other style in my usual style, I will be polishing it but meanwhile I feel very happy with the result of this union.

Esta ilustración fue la oportunidad perfecta para unir el estilo que venia practicando la semana pasada y que me gusto pero no era lo que yo realmente quería hacer, así que lo que hice fue incorporar los detalles del otro estilo en mi estilo de siempre, lo iré puliendo pero mientras tanto me siento muy feliz del resultado de esta unión

For the color palette I have chosen a palette of saturated colors, and I have not degraded it to the darkest tones because I wanted to give the impression of light shadows and not strong as we can see when there is little light, when there is a lot of light in an environment the shadows become very soft and dim, is another tips that I have discovered over time.

Para la paleta de color he elegido una paleta de colores saturados, y no lo he degradado hasta los tonos mas oscuros porque quería dar la impresión de sombras ligeras y no fuertes como las que podemos ver cuando hay poca luz, cuando hay mucha luz en un ambiente las sombras se vuelven muy suaves y tenues, es otro tips que he descubierto a medida del tiempo.

I really like to make small lagoons in my works because it is something that I feel that I am not very clear, sometimes it is difficult to understand how water behaves in different situations and environments so this time I wanted to make a very bright and clean lagoon due to the large amount of sunlight in the scene, maybe next time I will even put objects or plants under it to give more weight to the composition, but for now I wanted the attention to be brought to the girl and the creatures and with having achieved that I am fine. Me gusta mucho hacer pequeñas lagunas en mis trabajos porque es algo que siento que no tengo muy claro, a veces es difícil entender como se comporta el agua en distintas situaciones y entornos entonces esta vez quise hacer una laguna muy iluminada y limpia debido a la gran cantidad de luz solar que hay en la escena, tal vez para la próxima incluso ponga objetos o plantas debajo de ella para darle mas peso a la composición, pero por ahora quería que la atención fuese llevada a la niña y a las criaturas y con haber logrado eso estoy bien . cuéntame que te parecido esta ilustración.
