they say there's no such thing as bad publicity. People are talking about it. Which is great. There is no way they could have released a series like that without huge amounts of controversy, but then you hear something like this, and you know the creators must just be the most incredible people
Yeah, well- I agree to an extent. But if all the publicity comes from largely angry, disgruntled and or hateful viewers of both eachother and/or the show (cough cough Velma cough cough HGS) it's an overall turn off. No one really wants to waste their time on a migrain just cuz it's popular (..or maybe they do and I'm just weird)
Urgh no. Migraines suck. Like I won't go read the comments, but like if I get a hint that far-right, hyper-Christian/ religious people are getting offended by something, I know it's something I'm going to enjoy 😜 like their offense is a barometer for how cool something actually is 😂😂😂maybe I haven't grown up after all. I'm still into the stuff that pisses the "adults" off. lol

Strangely enough, I haven't seen any weird far-right overly religious comments about Helluva Boss, just a lot of "the writing is too immature and crude", some folks making fun of the artstyle here n there. Sometimes the jokes they make are funny, but the constant "X show, but it was written by Vivziepop🤪" an unforseen level of swearing only gets so funny after a while
Agreed, though. What the creators do is awesome (minus the few questionable choices here n there.. Vivienne needs to learn to not interact with the hate mob, which she seemingly has for the while, thank God)
