Si algún personaje ha trascendido libremente el marco de obra literaria para instalarse en la cotidianidad de las personas de diferentes latitudes, ese es Don Quijote de la Mancha, o mas sencillamente "El Quijote"
Y no solamente ha trascendido el marco literario, sino el de tiempo, que es el mas difícil de todos los marcos.
Prácticamente todas las artes se han ocupado de reflejar y recrear, a su modo y segun los preceptos de la epoca la figura del Hidalgo caballero de enigmatico parecer.
Hace poco tiempo pasé por una pequeña galería en la calle Obispo, vi una escultura del caballero andante elegantemente realizada en bronce y a tamaño natural, y quedé impresionado por la maestria en la ejecucion, pero tambien por la manera particular de representar la cabeza que no sigue el cliché tradicional del personaje literario huesudo, y exageradamente de nariz puntiaguda.
Aquí, sin dejar de tener el parecido de los clasicos, este es de pomulos mas rellenos y nariz mas a lo normal.
Esta imagen me inspiró a realizar un dibujo para esta artistica comunidad del cual les presento el paso a paso.
Para realizar este trabajo solo he necesitado un boligrafo de tinta negra, y un pedacito de cartulina canson.
Ademas de respetar bastante el original, le incluí una alusión al mundo onirico y de enajenación en que se desarrollaba la trama del personaje literario:
Aspas de molinos, el Sancho, Dulcinea:
etc.comforman el fondo que interactua con la figura principal en el dibujo.
También he tratado de mantener el espíritu del bronce por lo que el claro oscuro esta en funcion de esa apariencia metalica.

Practically all the arts have been busy reflecting and recreating, in their own way and according to the precepts of the time, the figure of the Hidalgo knight of enigmatic appearance.
A short time ago I passed by a small gallery in Obispo street, I saw a sculpture of the walking locker elegantly made in bronze and natural size, and I was impressed by the mastery in the execution, but also by the particular way of representing the head that does not follow the traditional cliché of the bony literary character, and exaggeratedly pointed nose.
Here, while retaining the resemblance to the classics, this one is more fuller cheekbones and a more normal nose.
This image inspired me to make a drawing for this artistic community, of which I present you the step by step.
To make this work I only needed a black ink pen, bb and a small piece of canson cardboard....
Besides respecting the original, I included an allusion to the oneiric world and alienation in which the plot of the literary character developed,
Windmill blades, Sancho, Dulcinea,
etc. The background must interact with the main figure in the drawing.
I have also tried to keep the spirit of the bronze so the dark light is in function of that metallic appearance.
