i6iaga_eo2a - Infrared Photography on Hive

Hi eveyone,

I hope the week-end break was great and ya'll are in a good shape to face this brand new business week.

During summer, I attended to a Hip-Hop contest sponsored by a big supermaket brand here in France (E. Leclerc). It's named "Hip-Hop Talents" and the goal is to find underrated graffiti artists, rappers & dancers.

I met Ratz One, a friend of mine who's a graffiti artist. He won the competition here in Nantes last year. He hooked me up with a lot of people.

We took seat and watched the contest. I was really inpressed by Tinaa who litterally killed the rap contest!!! I was amazed by the dance skills of a young fellow named Issiaga Keita a.k.a. i6iaga_eo2a. He danced like his life was depending on it, giving all he had at every round. During round #1, he won the battle against R.One!!! This breakdancer is a member of the Hotmilk breaking crew and a national team member(!). i6iaga passed every rounds and he won the battle without any discussion.

Few days later, we met by accident in my neighbourhood : he was doing an outdoor hip-hop class in front of the Fine Arts school. I don't beleive in luck so I guess it was written that we would meet again quickly. The vibe was right so we quickly decided to meet a couple of days after to do a photoshooting together. The session was great, we took a lot of fun and we got really nice content (IR photos and videos). Here's a sample of what will be shared here during the following weeks :

These pictures were taken at the very end of the session. As the sun was really low, light was not super bright but it worked really well. i6iaga is a machine, he never stops dancing!!! If the sunset didn't come, he wouldn't have stopped.

Infrared shots created in real time, captured to the camera in single photographic frames. SOOC
