Art Submission for “Save a Paw”

@ravenmus1c reached out to invite me to join her animal charity project “Save a Paw” a while ago and I decided to take part.
I'm sorry I took a long time to submit my art piece.

The submitted artworks will be sold on NFT Showroom, and all proceeds will be donated to the animal charity.

Update: ARTISTS for my Animal Charity Project! 🎨🐶🐱

As for me, I’m joining with my usual doodles and I made it into paper cutout art.
Since the art piece has to include animals in the artwork, I decided to add ears to an urban landscape, hehe
I hope you like it.

Here is the process.
I drew a bunch of things with ears… cats, dogs, bunnies… As for what they actually are, I’ll leave it to your imagination.

Scene is set at night, so I drew the moon.
I added colour to the sky and drew windows on the buildings.

I added shadow layer to each layers.
By sliding it slightly and blurring it, you can easily create shadows.

I added a paper texture.
It’s hard to tell, but it looks like it is painted on cardboard.

And then, while creating the shadows, I got lost in choosing the colours…💦

I added a frame, and it’s complete.

私はというと、相変わらずの落書きをペーパーカットアウトアートにしてみました。
作品には動物が描かれていること…ということでしたので、都市の風景に耳をつけてみました😆

以下は作成の過程です。

ランダムに耳のある何かをたくさん描いていきます。
猫、犬、うさぎ…それが何なのかは、ご想像にお任せします。

夜の設定なので、お月様を描きました。
空に色を入れて、ビルに窓を描きました。

それぞれのレイヤーに影のレイヤーを付けます。
少しスライドしてぼかすと影が簡単に作れるんです。

紙の質感を加えます。
わかりずらいですが、段ボールに色を塗ったように見えます。

そして、影を作りながら色で迷い…💦

最後にフレームを付けて出来上がりです。
