doodle houses ESP/ENG

Hello Hivers! Today I want to share with you this series of houses or buildings made in a doodle style that I've been practicing lately. For some time now, I've been seeing this style of illustrations and I really like them. I've made several previous attempts to achieve a similar style, but I haven't succeeded. I haven't used direct references because in my process I like to try to replicate using my imagination or memory in many cases. However, this doesn't mean that I don't believe references have value. In fact, quite the opposite. I think relying on references is very good and positive because it can speed up the learning process, but specifically with these drawings I haven't done it, I hope.

Hola Hivers! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes esta serie de casas o edificios realizados en un estilo garabato que he estado practicando últimamente. Desde hace algún tiempo he estado viendo este estilo de ilustraciones y la verdad es que me gustan mucho. He hecho varios intentos anteriores tratando de conseguir un estilo similar, pero no lo he logrado. No he utilizado referencias directas, ya que en mi proceso me gusta intentar replicar usando mi imaginación o memoria en muchos casos. Aun así, esto no significa que no crea que las referencias tengan valor. De hecho, todo lo contrario. Creo que basarse en referencias es algo muy bueno y positivo porque puede acelerar el proceso de aprendizaje, pero específicamente con estos dibujos no lo he hecho, espero.

After achieving these sketches, which were the first and simplest with a marker, I also practiced with some ink I have, but it's separated. I'm trying to revive it since I read that ink, in its composition, usually doesn't have elements that expire completely. I made this version using watercolors as well...

Después de lograr estos bocetos, que fueron los primeros y más sencillos con marcador, también estuve practicando con tinta china que tengo, pero que está separada. Estoy tratando de revivirla, ya que leí que la tinta china, en su composición, no suele tener elementos que se venzan del todo. Hice esta versión usando acuarelas también...

Additionally, I made this last one which seems more 'definitive' to me, but with a marker, so I couldn't use watercolors to continue its process. So I decided to transfer it to Photoshop and try to achieve a mix that I liked. And the result was this last one that I quite like, and I think I'm getting closer and closer to the style that I really like and that I hope continues to progress. I hope you like it.

Además, hice esta última que es la que me parece más 'definitiva', pero con marcador, por lo que no pude usar acuarelas para continuar con su proceso. Así que decidí pasarlo a Photoshop y tratar de conseguir un mix que me gustara. Y el resultado fue esta última que me gusta bastante y creo que cada vez me acerco más al estilo que me gusta mucho y que espero que siga progresando. Espero que les guste.
