Preparing for my exhibition - Harmony and disharmony

I've been pretty inactive on HIVE the last few days or weeks, but that doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything. Although, actually, the heat has slowed me down a lot. I'm having a hard time even sitting at my desk, let alone concentrating on the task at hand.
This also shows in my work, while the first series and the last image is a composed, precise work, the second series with that awful red background shows that I didn't work it out subtly enough.
I think it's terrible, even the colors are not harmonious.
This will definitely not be on display!

My first picture shows a pleasant and harmonious ripple, like a stream flowing between the pebbles. It wasn't painted now, of course, but weeks ago, when I was in an inspired state.
