RE: Splinterlands Fan Art : Lyanna Natura - image manipulation and AI assisted art

Exactly! Those with an understanding of the underlying theories and components that seperate art from "Art" will certainly excel using this as a tool. Just as those who might go to one of those wine and paint nights where they create a replica of a classic painting may not understand its significance from a academic standpoint, there's a significant gap to those that do.

Deep analysis and very well put! Happy to read this:)
If you see the 'wars' that go on on Twitter, you end up wondering what exactly is 'Art' or art. I am actually not from an art background but even to me it is clear that ai tools are just another means to a vast ocean that is art. I don’t understand why it has to be accessible to only a privileged few. But these are my thoughts and not all feel the same. And I can understand that.

I think not caring what other people think all that much and focusing on the work itself is what truly and really matters. Creators and artists will create and work on their passion no matter what other people think. It can border on an obsession for many.
