Temples II - AI Artwork - [en/spa]

This is the second part of my post from yesterday about understand how the AI is managing the color. I have been thinking how to focus my posts, and thought maybe I should make a tutorial, explaining my recipes and techniques. But that is something seen very often, too boring. So I think I will focus on my interaction/relationship with this AI, as in a strange way, it has its own personality.

Esta es la segunda parte de mi publicación de ayer centrada en entender como maneja el color esta IA. He estado pensando como enfocar mis publicaciones, pensé que tal vez debería hacerlas cual tutorial, explicando mis recetas y técnicas. Pero es algo que está muy visto. Así que creo que me centraré en mi interacción/amistad con esta IA, ya que a su extraña manera, tiene su propia personalidad.

In the interaction with this AI, one has to understand that it is like some kind of collaboration, in which the AI takes part of what one gives to it, and the AI gives to you whatever it wants. One can take it, and work on it. There is no way to give to the AI precise instructions and expect that it gonna follow them perfectly. But that is where its magic is laying! And it's also a headache. For example, let's talk about the color palettes/artists that I am trying to build. As I said yesterday, the output may vary using the same palette and prompt, in different runs. The AI decides what to take from each author, and how much. Anyway, it's not all lost in this matter, this tool offers the possibility of determining the weight of each element that we give to the AI, so it can be pushed to use more of an author, and less of another one.

En la relación con esta IA, uno ha de entender que es como una especie de colaboración, en la cual ella toma parte de lo que uno le da, y da lo que le apetece. Uno puede tomarlo, y trabajar sobre ello. No hay forma de darle instrucciones precisas y que las siga a la perfección. ¡Pero en esto es donde está su magia! Y también es un dolor de cabeza. Por ejemplo, hablemos de las paletas de colores/artistas que estoy intentando confeccionar. Cómo dije ayer, los resultados pueden variar usando una misma paleta y prompt en diferentes sesiones. La IA decide qué tomar de cada autor, y en cuanta cantidad. De todas formas no está todo perdido en este sentido, esta herramienta ofrece la posibilidad de determinar el peso de cada elemento que le damos a la IA, así pues se puede influenciarla para que use más de un autor, y menos de otro.

Anyway, this system of weights, which I mentioned in the previous paragraph, is doesn't give the desired output, every time we need. Let's imagine that I have a palette of authors, that uses warm colors, as I want those colors... but the AI ​​has been obsessed in taking cold colors, because a single author of the entire palette, used them eventually. I could put a very low weight to the author, but then the AI will also ignore his style, which is just the one that I was interested about. And here comes the "psychology", as the AI, how I said, seems to have its own personality... what is usually the one of a toddler who feels over excited from more than so many options to choose, and ends up acting erratically. With a child, the thing would be to give it a few options, very accurate ones... but the AI ​​needs just the opposite, plenty options. So, how to solve this contradiction? Sending the kid to his bedroom to make him think about his behavior haha. So, in this case, it would be like closing the AI session and trying again... most of the times, it will end up understanding that it should use the colors that predominate in the palette of authors, not a marginal color used only by one, eventually.

De todas formas, el sistema de otorgar diferentes pesos, que comenté en el párrafo anterior, no siempre da buen resultado. Imaginemos que tengo una paleta de autores, que usa colores cálidos, ya que deseo esos colores... pero la IA se ha obsesionado en tomar colores fríos, porqué un único autor de toda la paleta, también los usó. Podría ponerle un peso bien bajo al autor, pero entonces también ignorará su estilo, el cual es justo el que me interesaba que la IA usase. Y aquí entra la "psicología", ya que la IA, cómo dije, parece tener su propia personalidad... qué suele ser al de un niño pequeño que se siente excitado de más frente a tantas opciones donde elegir, y acaba actuando erráticamente. Con uno niño, la cosa sería darle pocas opciones, y que sean precisas... pero la IA necesita un buen repertorio donde elegir. Así qué, ¿cómo solucionar esta contradicción? Pues mandándola castigada a su habitación a que reflexione sobre lo que está haciendo jaja, que en el caso de esta IA, sería como cerrar la sesión y volver a intentarlo... la mayoría de veces, acabará entendiendo que debe usar los colores que predominan en la paleta de autores, no un color marginal usado sólo por uno, y poco.
