Hello, How are you? Summer is coming here and I am still sick, what is happening to me I hope this cold comes to an end, I can't deal with this anymore LOL affected my mood so I can't go out. So back to the topic to ease my mood I decided to join this week, for my entry for this week I chose River Nymph I was eyeing her a long time ago this is her time to shine and thanks to her it makes me feel a little better after drawing her.

The Process:

At first, am I doing the sketch right? It took me around three rejected sketches before I was satisfied with which sketch I used yeah. I used marker details for the sketches and I used dark red brush color which I used to do since last year.

For the final line art, this part needs to be clean and easy to render for later, so what I did is to adjust the stabilization of the brush and I carefully drew the final line art. I used to render with a messy line art, but I realize that mess up my rendering so I always make sure that line art is as clean as possible.

Now that the line art is done, I then added the base color of the character, to make life easier I used shape shape-fill brush to do the job saving me a lot of time. I make sure that every part has its layer so that rendering for later is easier and less messy. I added texture to the canvas too.

After adding the base color, I started the base rendering I used a soft airbrush for this part and all the next progress. Adding where the shadow is always the first thing I do which always works for me. Then to tone up the canvas I filled it with a gray color, I am still thinking about what background color should I use.

After adding the base render, I added more detail to start I lowered the opacity of the line art so that I could see what needed to be a little bit of fix on every part of her.

For the final process I focused more on adding details like from the hair I used a rake bristle dry brush when I wanted to add more details to the hair which was a big help for me and saved me more time than adding one by one hair strands and then I intense the parts where needed to be and for the final touch I added a water flowy to the background to make the canvas more lively.
