Hace algunos años practicaba un estilo de dibujo que me ayudaba a reducir el estrés. Se trataba de dibujos sencillos con gran significado que buscaban inspirar ideas. Tenían una historia principal que contar, pero también se prestaban a diversas interpretaciónes. En una ocasión dibuje una niña malvada con los ojos rojos y un fondo que se repetía varias veces sobre su mismo, más o menos como lo recuerdo. Cuando hacía estos dibujos me abstraia completamente dejando que los trazos salieran casi inconscientemente.
Hace algunos días mientras navegaba en Hive precisamente en Alien Art Hive, me encontré con un post de @chacald.dcymt donde habla de la técnica Zentangle que es muy similar a la mía, tienen similitudes porque ambas son altamente relajantes, pero mientras mi estilo busca comunicar y estimular, la técnica Zentangle tiene la vocación de relajar, sin embargo ambas llevan a un fuerte punto de abastraccion durante el proceso por lo que sentí.
Aquí les comparto un ejercicio que hice con la técnica Zentangle, mañana haré otra con mi propia técnica.

A few years ago, I practiced a drawing style that helped me reduce stress. These were simple drawings with great meaning, intended to inspire ideas. They had a main story to tell, but also lent themselves to various interpretations. Once, I drew an evil girl with red eyes and a background that repeated itself several times, more or less as I remember it. When I made these drawings, I became completely absorbed, letting the strokes flow almost unconsciously.
A few days ago, while browsing Hive, specifically Alien Art Hive, I came across a post by @chacald.dcymt where he talks about the Zentangle technique, which is very similar to mine. They share similarities because both are highly relaxing, but while my style seeks to communicate and stimulate, the Zentangle technique aims to relax. However, both lead to a strong point of abstraction during the process, at least that's what I felt.
Here I share an exercise I did with the Zentangle technique; tomorrow I'll do another one with my own technique.

By drawing more eyes from the corners, the drawing becomes a little more complicated.
En algún momento deje de dibujar porque me di cuenta de que sería infinito o al menos hasta donde el grueso del marcador permanente lo permitiera.
At some point I stopped drawing because I realized it would be infinite, or at least as long as the thickness of the permanent marker allowed.
