Esta noche del 15 de Mayo del 2022 se ha dado un bellísimo eclipse Lunar, ha sido uno de los eclipses que he podido disfrutar más y que se ha logrado ver de una manera completa.

Hello my Dears

This night of May 15, 2022 there has been a beautiful Lunar eclipse, it has been one of the eclipses that I have been able to enjoy more and that has been able to see in a complete way.

Mi hijo menor Krishna, de 14 años, ama todo lo que tiene que ver con la astronomía, así que una amiga le regaló un telescopio, y esta noche él ha logrado tomar fotografías muy buenas usándolo.

Inspirada en esta fotografía que tomó mi hijo, aunque no lo crean justo en esas horas nocturnas me puse a pintar, simplemente tenía que hacerlo, sentí la necesidad de plasmar con mis pinturas este momento.

My youngest son Krishna, 14 years old, loves everything that has to do with astronomy, so a friend gave him a telescope, and tonight he has managed to take very good pictures using it.

Inspired by this photograph that my son took, believe it or not just in those night hours I started to paint, I just had to do it, I felt the need to capture this moment with my paintings.

Así que tomé mis pinceles, pinturas y un lienzo blanco con un soporte de cd usado y comencé a pintar mi representación del eclipse.

So I took my brushes, paints and a white canvas with a used cd holder and started painting my representation of the eclipse.

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar la luna y el paisaje usando un lápiz de grafito. Hice unas montañas y la luna en el cielo.

The first thing I did was to draw the moon and the landscape using a graphite pencil. I made some mountains and the moon in the sky.

Pinté la luna usando tonalidades rojas, anaranjadas y amarillo.

I painted the moon using shades of red, orange and yellow.

Para el cielo usé azul petróleo, negro y azul rey, le hice reflejos con blanco.

Pinté un halo de luz amarillo para hacer una línea de separación con las montañas y el cielo.

For the sky I used petrol blue, black and royal blue, I made reflections with white.

I painted a yellow halo of light to make a separation line with the mountains and the sky.

Luego pinté las montañas usando verde oscuro,verde grama y negro.

Then I painted the mountains using dark green, grass green and black.

Luego con blanco y amarillo pinté lo que simularía un morichal, con una laguna donde se ve reflejado la luz de la luna.

Then with white and yellow I painted what would simulate a morichal, with a lagoon where the moonlight is reflected.

Luego con blanco terminé haciendo luces y reflejos, en la luna, y con salpicado hice las estrellas en el cielo.

Then with white I ended up making lights and reflections, on the moon, and with splashing I made the stars in the sky.

Y de esta manera termine mi pintura y así quedó mi ECLIPSE DE LUNA.

And this is how I finished my painting and this is how my MOON ECLIPSE looked like.
