This is my entry for Day 1998: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: wood doll
He instantly knew that there is something bad lingers inside the house. Even though he is not a person who has the sixth sense to have a strong instinct for supernatural things, he still feels something is bad in that house.
The house agent kept on explaining about the house, and also the previous owner. She seems to be ok with the situation and does not even have the same feelings that bother him. She also seems to know the previous owner very well while showing the house around.
Then they come to the last room but it is oddly located at the very end of the hallway on the second floor. That eery feeling grow stronger, and as soon as they open the door, they were greeted by an ancient wood doll. And then everything now makes sense to him, and definitely not the house he wants to buy for his family.
