Listening carefully to the advice of older adults is key to understanding many of the situations in which we sometimes fall into arguments with other people because we do not understand approaches that are only given by lived experience.
Listening to our grandparents is a way to understand what someone is saying by putting all the attention and energy in what the other wants to tell us or advise us, in my case I like to listen to the anecdotes of my grandparents.
It is good advice to take a moment out of our day to give our full attention to the conversation with those elderly loved ones, but full of experiences and advice to give.
