Yes, you are correct @djbravo. The character in my story was sincere, as I believe all health professionals are, especially nurses. I remember when my spouse was in the hospital two years ago for one week. The nursing staff took excellent care of him and was genuinely concerned about his health. They cheered him on, and each time one knocked at his room door, his face lit up. Probably because they were bringing pain meds, lolol. But they were a welcome sight.
