She was the one who inspired the god
Of the ocean's vast domains
whose spirit rode the waves
as no other could reach
From distant shores,
her drifting song called and ebbed
As dawn and dusk
Painted the clouds pink and amber.
She was the Muse who knew no borders,
possessed no shores
inspiring all who heard
Her call to yearn to know more
Of realms untouched by any map,
by no keel or oar -
The lady of the ocean, now and forever.
