It was indeed a long story said the compound master to the principal as John was kneeling down in his office, the principal asked the compound master to explain then he started narrating

Some time around 9:00am during class period as I have just finished teaching the junior class and I was on my way back to the staff office in other to wash my hands due to the chalk I'd used to teach.

Then all of a sudden I heard a noise coming out from the backyard of the abandoned class block, so then I decided to check it out then immediately they students spotted me and started running, behold they group of boys were they smoking 🚬

But thank God I'd manage to recognize one person which I'd catch him yesterday and his name is Bola so yesterday I beat and punished him to mention the names of all the students that were with him that day.

Then the first name he mentioned was John and seven other students who are as we speak absent from school but John on the other hand keeps saying that he's innocent that Bola is not my friend I quote him directly

At this point I'm very much confused because Bola who I caught yesterday and punished after series of beating and then invited his parents has not showed up to school today.

Then after hearing all that from the compound master the principal said since John keeps saying that he's innocent then let him go until when Bola comes when we ask him again and he still says that John was amongst them then we will give John a double punishment
