How Do I Repay My Dad For His Kindness?

Two days ago, I made a post about my dad doing everything for me. I’ve never lacked anything that a normal child should lack ever since I was born because my father makes sure that he provides all I want for me. For those who are yet to know, I now have a mini mart and my dad is the one who helps me to transport my goods from the market to my shop whenever I go to buy goods.

Yesterday, I went to the market to buy some goods and I waited for him to close at work so he could help me transport them but he closed very late and he couldn’t. He promised to deliver them very early today before he goes to work.

This morning, his call woke me up that I should start getting prepared since he’d get to my shop in some minutes from now. I took my bathe and started going to my shop. He got there after five minutes and we offloaded those goods together. We spoke for a few minutes and also asked me to come home because I wasn’t looking very good at all.

There are heat rashes on my skin and I even look darker so they’d be able to take care of me at home. He left and I said goodbye to him. After a few minutes, I got a call from my mum saying that my dad’s car has been bashed by a tricycle. For my Nigerians here, you all know how difficult it is when it comes to arguing with commercial transport workers.

My sister and I got there to see what was happening and the realized that the windscreen of the tricycle got broken and our car had a little fault. At the end of it all, it resulted to my dad paying some amount of money to the guy who drove the tricycle.

And when my dad was about to lay the money, my sister and I decided to make the payment and asked us not to worry. When everything was settled, we still stood on giving him the money and we sent the money to his account then told him not to return the money. Honestly, he deserves it and I can even say that he deserves more than it from us. This is the first time I’m helping my dad financially after he has helped me financially for years. I’m glad I could do that for my father and I pray that the good Lord blesses me so I can do more things for my father, mother and every other person around me.

I’m glad I could do that but guess what? He just called me now and returned the money to my account. He doesn’t want us to lack anything or see us go through anything. What kind of man is my dad? Why is he too nice? I wish to give but he keeps telling me that I should sort myself with all I have and he’d be fine. How do you think I can repay him for this kindness?
