From Technological Communication To My Name On Someone Else's Cellphone

in Freewriters2 years ago (edited)

One thing is more important than the main thing, and that is communication. Humans can only survive on their own if they are unable to communicate. If there are only two humans in this world, then communication must exist between the two.

Every day, the evolution of communication becomes more and more sustainable. Communication evolves at a faster rate as technology advances.

It is extremely difficult for us to go about our daily lives at this time without communication. When you first open your eyes in the morning, you will undoubtedly look at your cellphone to see if there is any news.

# Understanding Communication Technology

In a nutshell, communication can be defined as a mode of communication. Interactions between humans, animals, and even jinn occur. We will never be able to interact, let alone establish kinship if we do not communicate. Before the communication was issued, it was still a product of each person's mind.

Meanwhile, communication technology is a tool used in the communication process. The words or language used to communicate is a tool. However, throughout history, communication has not always been created by the sound produced by the mouth.

# A Brief History of Communication Technology

Cave Painting: It is claimed that cave painting is the world's oldest form of communication. The painting is painted on the cave's walls and roof, where there is a variety of information between being a diary that tells of things that happened at the time. Many historians then searched and researched these writings, studying what was conveyed. One of them is aware of which nation once inhabited the area. And, unusually, after being studied, the writing occasionally contains predictions about what will happen in the future.

Communication Symbol: Symbols were the forerunners to the development of Alphabet writing. The symbol was carved on the rock in ancient times. But I'm not sure what the basis of the symbols is, whether it has a common understanding of the symbols are carved according to the carver's personal thoughts.
There are various symbols in Indonesia, including those engraved on money, plates, and other items.
The symbol is currently being used in logos for communities, parties, businesses, product brands, and others.

Sign Smoke:The Chinese were the first to use smoke signs in history. However, this smoke sign is now more commonly used for communication requests for assistance, which are frequently used on ships.

Pigeons: The Pigeon is the next communication tool. Letters or small items were sent through birds in ancient times before delivery as it is today. It's difficult to understand how an animal can understand the sender's purpose, but according to wikipedia, pigeons are trained to know the sender's orders, can fly very long distances, and are taught the way home.

It is also stated that there are certain tips for keeping the pigeons, such as feeding potassium carbonate and fish oil as vitamins to make the pigeons strong and easy to train. Researchers are still divided on whether the pigeons learn the recipient's address through smell or through a magnetic field.

Postal Service: Humans are becoming more aware of the use of pigeons over time. It is possible that some pigeon mistakes led to humans using courier services as a means of communication. The intended address is completely accurate when using a courier service, even though the time period cannot be guaranteed.

Newspaper: Communication via newspapers is still used today, though the quality and quantity are not what they once were. Newspapers are a general form of communication because they deliver information to the general public.

**Radio: **Radio followed the newspaper as a medium of communication. Scientists are attempting to develop a sound-based communication technology that can transmit data without the use of cables. With voice communication, you can entertain yourself and quickly get information. Radio, like newspapers, is still used and installed on advanced communication media like mobile phones and the internet.

Telegraph: A telegraph is a long-distance communication system for sending text messages. The telegraph evolved from letters sent by pigeons and courier services.

Phone: Although it is widely assumed that Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876, wikipedia states that the telephone was first invented as Sound Telegraph by Antonio Meucci in 1971.
If radio is a public communication tool, then the telephone is an audio communication tool only for people who want to be addressed.
Because the invention of the telephone at the time was the first step in the development of a sophisticated communication tool such as it is today.

**Television: **After successfully developing a communication tool in the form of sound, scientists attempt to develop a communication system that can also display moving images. After World War II, the first black-and-white television was broadcast. However, as technology progressed, televisions with full color and increasingly simple shapes were developed.

Computer: Charles Babbage was the first to think of creating a computer. Although there were several people who contributed to the development of a communication tool in the form of a computer at the time.

**Internet: **Following the advent of the computer as a tool, communication technology evolved into a means of quickly transmitting information, namely the internet. The invention of the Transistor by William Shockley, Walter Houser Brattain, and John Bardeen at Bell Labs in 1947 sparked the development of the internet. After the internet, email and social media evolved into what they are today.

After the invention of the first mobile phone by Martin Cooper, all of the communication technology tools I mentioned above have become increasingly sophisticated. Although mobile phones were originally designed only to make voice calls and send limited text messages, all communication technology tools are now housed in a single device known as a handphone.

With the availability of Android-based mobile phones today, many application developers create products that can be used on mobile communication devices. These applications can include games, communication applications, detectors, and a plethora of others.

In this post, I will demonstrate an application that I believe will pique my interest enough for me to write this post. There is an app that can detect our names on other people's cell phones. When I saw this app, I felt strange because I saw a lot of people calling me by names I'd never heard of before.

My real name is Resyi Azhari, and I live in Blang Cut village, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia. With my various names on other people's cellphones, I have to wonder why that person named himself that way.
For the sake of clarity, I will show myself naming myself on other people's cellphones and the possible reasons why others might refer to me by that name.
