To think of you, I don't want to, it's pain,
a dull echo that drags my voice,
like a shadow in the night, a ray of sunshine,
that burns the silence, that drowns the goodbye.
What was ours was not a game or juggling,
it was fire and it was dawn, a stellar song,
you came into my life, my love,
without thinking about it, you were a breath without equal.
Thinking of you, a gloomy labyrinth,
where longing and sadness meet in a thousand,
is a song without echo, a lost love,
a forgotten story that never comes back.
Good one.
Why not end it with this :
" for a lesson learned and not to repeat itself again ".
The poetry is a nice, heartfelt poem about the loss of love.
But fronted is more important than regression.
Greetings.

I enjoyed the flow and rhythm of this poem which I thought reflected the sense of reminiscence. Have you ever played around with sonnets?
